How did other SAH sufferers find getting their driving licence back from dvla after six months. They have written to my consultant but my heart is in my mouth!! Skippy Posted February 24, 2018 Share Posted February 24, 2018 Luckily I had no problems, but I'm one of the lucky ones who has no serious lasting effects of the SAH. I had my bleed in the August and got my licence back in the December. If your consultant and/or GP feel you're fit to drive they will let the DVLA know.
