  1. Hi Allejam Congratulations on your 1st year NASAH Anniversary. Good to hear that there has been improvements. Sorry to hear you are still having problems with weakness and breathlessness. I hope your scan gives you some answers. I had an SAH and found things took at least 2 years and even longer to improve. 13 years down the line i still have to pace myself as still get the dreaded fatigue. One year is still very early in your recovery. You had a large volume widespread bleed. Wishing you well with your ongoing recovery. Please let us know how y

  2. Hello everyone It has been quite a while since I posted and I reached my NASAH 1 year anniversary on January 3, 2021. Hard to believe. The second half of my year was taken up with endless specialist appointments, scans and tests for a number of reasons I won't bore you with. At this point everything has improved in varying degrees with the exception of one area. I experience loss of power or weakness in my arms and legs accompanied by breathlessness every day. It is more pronounced when I try to do things like changing a fitted sheet, mopping the shower or any o

  3. I’ve only just seen that Macca has passed. Very sorry to hear that. So very generous of his family to think of BTG. He’ll be missed. 😒

  4. I am just reading about dear Macca. My deepest condolences to his wife and family. His words were always so kind and encouraging. His words certainly brought strength to me on my SAH journey. Hugs to all the lives he touched. Kathy (Colorado)

  5. Hi my mom really panicked because I told her there was a mirror there wasn't in hers and there wasn't in my last one I dont know why or where it was but it panicked me a bit so don't expect one but I did still have the button to press if I needed to come out xxx Close your eyes and think of a time you were really happy and just let your mind go there it didn't take long xxx

  6. Thanks Karen and Jess for your replies. Yes I’ll have to get something from the doc I think. I’m fine with CT as you don’t go right in. Apparently the thing you wear on your head is what makes the signals work (yes I’m guilty of internet searching). Does the whole thing take long just to check the coils?

  7. Thank you everyone for your replies, suggestions and kind words. I introduced myself first and then started to read through the forums and posts, there was so much information that was relevant to me, i found the answers I was looking for in there, not so much what I wanted to hear but I do understand things much better now. I especially loved the letter to my brain. Thank you

  8. Hi Sarah, Snow and ice...lovely to look at but not to drive on. I'm so glad you managed and did not have to cancel your scans. Having to wear the mask while in makes it more difficult and uncomfortable I find. Hoping your new scans will provide clarity moving forward. Take care, Ann
