  5. Hi Ann, So pleased to hear your coils are behaving as they should and the fact that you don't require a stent at the present time. Hopefully this will remain the case when they check in July. It does make a lot of difference who you see and how they come across and I'm glad you feel happier about things going forward. I'm still waiting to hear what my MRIs revealed. Hopefully I won't be waiting much longer. Take care, Sarah xx

  6. Hi ann_calgary I am so pleased that your MRI looked good, that must be a huge weight off your mind. It sounds like your appointment went really well, with your doctor being straight and up front with you must have given you some peace of mind. It also must mean that everything is stable if he feels that you don't need to have the stent fitted at the moment. It's good that you came away feeling at peace with what he had to say. Take care & stay safe Love Michelle xx

  7. Quick update: MRI from January 5th looked good. Coils are intact and are in place. 👍 It was the Head of Neuro and my Doctor who coiled my first aneurysm from 2010 that saw me this time. We asked him about the stent and he said he does not think I need it for now. He ordered another MRI and Angio for July which will be my 1st year anni-versary for my second aneurysm and go from there. It makes a world of a difference when the Doctor is straight-forward and as decisive as he was unlike the other Doc I saw in November. I know everybody is different and I trust their expertise. I just

  8. Hi Daff, I was a workaholic...As a first grade teacher, I was usually in the building early and left at 5 pm or 6 pm daily (the custodians use to kick me out of the building lol) I worked weekends. The day of my hemorrhage, I was scheduled to tutor a student... Yes, As a society ‘busy’ is worn as a medal! I'm learning to take quiet time to heal...

  9. Hi Bev75! Thank you for your response. I will check out Mark Williams. I am glad that you are coping much better using relaxation techniques. I've heard of Headspace and want to download their app. I'm sure a calm quiet environment will help our overall health. I'm starting to think (based on the book Tinnitus, From Tyrant to Friend, by Cowan Hill) that the shrill, buzzing sound is my body's response to extreme stress and my NASAH. I will sing today! Blessings!

  10. Hi, some lovely kind advice above and hope you are seeing you are not alone. The truth and reality of our changed brains is a hard one to explain to others , how that feels, the loss and adjusting let alone accepting it is even harder. A lot of the early days is about surviving really, getting through the day, the pain, the fog and slowly slowly clawing back what we can manage and seeing what is else is possible. But my goodness we are hard with ourselves along the way, I mean no one handed us a manual of how to live after an brain injury , and so here we all are muddl

  11. Thank-you for responding Bev. I think I'm hoping that what I'm experiencing is a continuation of neuro fatigue because that feels like it still gives me hope that I can achieve further gains. Kind regards Majella

  12. Hi Xmartz Sending you a great big virtual hug xx You are not worthless at all, you have been through a huge trauma. Be kind to yourself as our lovely Karen once said to me on here. Do you think you could sit down and write down all the things you are struggling with or getting frustrated with. Your children are adults and maybe as a family you could have a chat about ways they could help you. You may have done this already xx Also have you contacted your Doctor or Consultant about your angry out of control outbursts. There are people you can talk to a

  13. Jean that is kind of you. ( I don’t do colouring either !! ) So one of my things of finding ‘new’ version Daffodil post SAH was I decided to train as a Business Trainer of Mindfulness. Gosh it was hard on the brain, I wanted to see if I could do it , I did and qualified if that’s a thing and I now do it for self reward really but it’s a way of my practising using my work day... I offer sessions each week for colleagues and it means I get to take that pause too! 8 years on I still need that and actually I’m finding lockdown hard as everyone is back home in my work space and so the
