I to have the heart beat pumping in my head, it happens most at night but can happen in the day, i too had my SAH in June 2010. I have burning feelings and pressure in the head to, i suffer with panic attacks too.

Sandi i think all neuro wards should have a copy of Dented image !!! When i finish mine im giving it to my GP Just to be told when we are discharged that this would be good reading for us would of helped !!!

I had just put the dinner on the table for the kids when mine happened, But five months earlier i had just moved from Wales to Perth Australia.Before the move i had to pack up our lives, house and my business ( Hairdresser) said goodbye to all my clients which i'd had for over 15years, all my family and move to the other side of the world. So it was the most stressful time in my life!! Then we landed here in WA with no family friends and nowhere to live. So we got it all sorted just started to enjoy our new life and BANG my head poped:crazy: With no reason for the bleed, i think it was stress and running a a million miles an hr. I worked full time run a business and had four kids when i lived in the UK, then we moved , so i think my lifestyle had a big factor.

Me again, I think I returned to work too early but i did it because i thought it would make me feel normal !!! whatever that is !!! It didnt make me feel normal it just proved to me how sick i still was, as i could'nt manage it, it made me exhasted and put me backwards in my recovery. I can only see that now looking back:crazy: I stuck at it , it has got abit easier but still makes me very tired. I think these doctors should inform us just how exhasted we will be and that this will last for a long time , and is not likely that you would be able to return to work for aleast 6-12months and have their support with that.

Hello Anna, My daughter was in the same place as you are 7months ago. She found me in the bedroom when it all happened, she rang her dad and got me help although she was very frightened she is only 12 years old. I was then rushed off to hosptial with her dad and she was left behind with her 2 brothers and sister. The doctors did'nt give them much hope but i pulled through. Knowing i had four wonderfull children at home give me the strenght to fight, just as i am sure your mum will have this strenght because of you !! Hang in there be strong your mum, your mum loves you very much and is doing her best to get better for you, i know as i have been there. Hiya Everyone, I went back to work 3months after SAH it was way TOO early, i only did thursday and friday mornings, im a senior hair stylist, it requires standing and talking to clients for about four hrs, way too much!!! I used to come home and crash for days, it would put me back in bed untill i hasd to go back to work. I was coming home to four kids and a husband, they have been great doing all the jobs around the house. Now 7months since SAH, im still doing the same hrs, i dont crash every time, but still very exhasted after work I still can't do much else, and would'nt increase hrs yet. I used to work 2 12 hr days and 1 8hr day before SAH and there is no way i could do that now:crazy: Hopefully this will improve as just like others has said i need it too because of the money part of it !!! I am getting more energy than before but will have my off days when i just cant do a thing, not even think straight:crazy:

Hiya Sandi, I too get the burning in the head, i got a really bad panic attack last night, i wake up went to the loo and my heart started to race then my head started burning , it started from the neck going into the head. I dont know why it started but it was a really bad one, i thought those nights where over for me I to im very sore around the neck shoulders and chest, like ive got whip lass, its not everyday but more when im really tired I dont have many dreams anymore since my SAH, so can't help you there:oops: Hope things improve soon take care Rhiann xxx

Thanks everyone for your replies, i think it is overdoing it and getting tired that can cause my nausea:frown: Kids are back to school on wednesday after eing off for 7weeks, so yes i am overdoing it!!!! Feel alittle scared tho as ill be left on my own again after 2months of having company everyday, i dont like my own company:frown: Take care Rhiann x

Great news Kevin hope all goes well with your son's grades. I have already gone back to work but only for two days 8:30 till 1:30 . when i get home im exhasted but now at least im not having to sleep when i get home. Hope all goes well when you return to work, just remember to take it easy, and when you get home just rest Take care Rhiann x

Hiya Tracy, I too hear the heart beating have done for months now, but ive noticed lately is that it is when im very tired or cant sleep or worried about somthing, like being able to work the next day or stressed about sleeping, as i still hate going to ed each night to sleep, i think i feel like im not going to wake up or if i i sleep somthing will happen. I've bn much better since going to counselling but it does still bother me. As for the ear thing that is one thing i dont get. Hope it all improves for you soon, no your not alone in all this we are all together in this;-) Take care RHiann xxx

Hiya Donna Yes i went back to hopstial too about 3weeks later, i had a headache i could'nt get rid of so off to ED we went , i had a ct scan which was clear and sent home to cope with the pain and the stress. I did go back in for a few days five days after i was sent home but i was rushed in with a blood clot on the lungs, i thought i was having another SAH as my head was killing and my heart was racing and i could'nt breath,but it was a blood clot:crazy: Very scary tho !! Have you been to coulselling yet?? i found it has helped me loads;-) Take care Rhiann xxx

Hi everyone Well i've not been on for awhile as ive really bad nausea again and dizzy heads with headaches. 7months on do you still get this nausea????? Not been sick but boy have i felt it:crazy: My GP has been on a three week holidAY but is back on Tuesday ive made a appointment to see him on wednesday. I think he will send me for a camera down my throat as he wants to rule anything else out. Not looking forward to it but at least ill know whAts going on and if all is well in the tummy. The heat is'nt helping here and the the thuderstorms give me very dizzy heads and pressure headaches. Not sleeping to good because of waking up feeling sick Well all ive done is moan today Hope everyone else is fairing better;-) Take care Rhiann xx

G'Day M P, welcome to the site. This site has answered questions for me when my GP could'nt. One person said to me that having a SAH is like your brain having a heartache, Your brain can't fully rest as you need it to work for us to live. So recovery takes a long time , and we get exhasted very easily, i had mine in June 2010, so im 7months post, it is only now that i feel alittle rest from the exhastion , so things are getting better. Ask any questions , go and see your GP reguarly, so she can keep up to date how your feeling. Like everyone else has said drink plenty and rest, i found that helped . Take care Rhiann xx

Donna right, go to the doc's and it will feel like home soon !! i told my doc i was going to move my bed there:lol: I did and do feel strange feelings in the head, tingling and burning and early on like water was running down my head. But do go to the doc's as he will check blood pressure look in your eyes and put you at ease. Take care Rhiann xxxx

WELCOME to the site, i was so glad to find it, i found it when i thought i was going off my head as i was going back and forth to hops dr's and no one had answers. I found this site and all my questions have been answered. My advice is rest be easy on yourself and drink plenty, go and get some couselling too , it helps loads. PM me anytime if you need to talk. Hiya, i too have this tightnesses in my head, i had y SAH June2010. Its like pressure in the head. I too had these feelings in my face my Dr thought it was sinuses but it turned out to do with SAH, i have pressure in the face and numbness, it has all settled down now and i only have it if im very tired. Hiya Tracy, I to have this, i have it the nights before i have to go to work or the other week Niesha my eldest was getting an award from school and we were invited to go, all i worried about was being well enough to go , so the night before i had a panick attack in the night woke up exhasted and dizzy and had a monster of a headache all day. Talked to my conseller about it and he said im stressing about being able to do these things, thus bringing on anxiety stress headaches and dizzy spells.
