  1. Thing that helped me was the Brain talking to me.. " A Letter From Your Brain - By Stephanie St. Claire ©1996"

It made sense to keep calm and it sort of explains what we've been through it is under "Inspiration" I think xxx (short term lol)

It made me calmer to be with people who had their B.I. and the whole site helped me as I found people who could laugh again, so once again to Mods and Karen and Family a Big Thank You  xxxx  We are not alone  xxxx

  3. I find singing happy songs and thinking how lucky I am to still be here really helps me !!

I cannot take sad stories or doom and gloomers, I don't mean us on here, I mean my Sister who loves to tell me her sad stories  arghhh  lol.

I find this site a great help, as we are told if you feel ill get in touch with your Doctor and hospital signs us off and we are in limbo.

So when we know we are not alone in this and people can help us smile again, this is when Behind the gray helps xxx

  6. Hi Peter J,

We found this site and knowing we aren't alone in our fight to recover helps us, and it is good when worried to come on here and tell our worries.

A trouble shared and so on as they say !!

I find remembering good times helps me and trying not to stress, when stressed I sing, my poor family.

It is a long haul so do not rush and always keep calm when possible xx

Good luck and we are all in the same boat so it is good to share a nagging doubt xx

    Regards

  12. Clara,

If ever worried see Doc as Stress is bad for us and better to be safe than sorry  xx

Better to be a nuisance as it is all new to us and we do not know what's going on in our head.  I had a bloodshot eye and went to hospital, and when my nose bleeds I think "Uh oh Win"

Come running to BTG and tell them my problems and feel better  just for sharing it xxx

Listen to Clare as it is not worth stressing about  xx

    Good luck

Win xxx Oh and welcome to BTG xxx

  13. Hi Taka,

I was scared when I awoke and found out what happened to me, my Daughter found this site, while I was in hospital.

I must admit I was so glad to be alive but it does knock you back a bit.  Before on this site I doubted if I would live long,  but then I spoke to people who had SAH and they could smile and laugh.

In turn I started to say to myself "There is a life after SAH Win"  and the best thing I have done is come on here.  (I talk to myself ha )

BTG people know why I have the hump one day and need a rant as they have been there.

If ever your worried come on here as a trouble shared is a trouble halved xx

Baby time for you, Let you get back to them xxx

Be well xxx Oh and as my surgeon said No Stress xx
