  1. Welcome Fiona You really are doing very well to be posting so soon after your discharge from hospital. I also was treated at Sheffield so I fully understand when you say you received excellent nursing care whilst in the hospital but little or no information as to what to expect during your rehab at home. Everyone on here knows how you are feeling at the moment so don't feel alone. I wish you well in your continued recovery. Trish x
  2. Many thanks for this useful information, much appreciated.
  3. My blood pressure has always been very low which my GP assures me is the best way to be therefore I don't think BP was a contributory factor to my SAH. I personally feel that my SAH was stress related and also the result of me thinking I was 'super woman' trying to keep all the ball in the air. After my SAH the 'super woman' days are gone and the pants are always worn inside the tights instead of over them!!
  4. Hi, Just to say what a relief it is to read of everyone else's experiences regarding funny head sensations. Without this wonderful support web site I would think I was heading for the 'funny farm!'. Since my non aneurysm SAH June 2010 I have experienced the 'heart beat pumping in my head' sensation. Also a tickling scalp which makes me want to scratch my head as if I had lice! The problems are worse at night when I lay down to sleep, all kinds of noises in my ears which stop me from drifting off to sleep. Thank you to all you fellow sufferers who have shared your problems, you have made me more capable of dealing with these day to day problems.
