  1. hi everyone thank you all for welcoming me on the site. my daughter was the one who had a look round on the net and found this site for me. she said it would help me., and reading some of the stories ,i can relate to them, and it has helped ,i dont feel on my own. i had a angiogram 3 times. the last time i had it i came out with a rash. . i didnt need a coil or clipping. it was all down to me having high blood presure. im still getting headahes but i do get a pain in my one eye, i dont know if thats anything to do with SAH.
  2. hi everyone, im 56 years of age i live with my husband .i had my SAH on the 17th july 2011. it was a sunday afternoon when it happened and my husband took me to A/E i felt really ill ,my head was hurting so much and my neck. because the staff said ill have to wait my turn to be seen . but if ive got chest pain they will see me straight away. so i waited and waited.then i did something really silly. i went home. because i thought it cant be serious. i went straight to bed and i was being sick in the night. after 2 days feeling ill i went to the doctors ,and he said i had a bleed in the brain so i then went to the hospital, had a brain scan and then tranfered to coventy where i stayed for 3 weeks. i didnt know at the time but i had high blood pressure. im now on blood pressure tablets for life. i now get very confussed, when i talk, i know what i want to say but then i say the wrong word. but im still here and alive.
