  1. Hello any ladies who are suffering from menopausal symptoms. I had my subarachnoid haemorrhage August 2015 and I was doing well but now I feel I'm going backwards. I can cope with most things but it seems to be making my headaches come back and I then feel panicky and can't calm down, I have more ups and downs than a fiddler's elbow, I have a really good day then a terrible day. I'm also anxious about planning any social events as I sometimes let people down. I have awful tension in my neck too. I've been on HRT and it didn't work, also tried beta blockers they make me sick and dizzy. Does anyone have any tips on coping with panic when the pain starts? ( I don't want anymore drugs!)
  2. Hello all, Thought I would update you on how I am. After three weeks of headaches today I took no painkillers and had no head pain all day!No fuzziness or dizzy spells. I actually felt like the old me was back, just hope she returns tomorrow!! Love to all x
  3. Hi Carolyn, another lovely person with useful advice. I get that with sunlight too sometimes. I will post soon to let you know how it goes. X
  4. Many thanks, Win I'm trying to be positive though today is a painful day. Usually I find I have a bad spell up to about five days then I come out of it. This is day four! Teenagers don't help either!
  5. Hi Karen and Super Mario, Thanks for the advice, maybe I do expect too much. In the early days I thought of 6 months as a time when I would miraculously recover. I'm realising it's not like that! I was shocked at how I felt at work, so fuzzy and tired. Zoplicone is a nighttime sleeping sedative that the doctor prescribed that I only take when I'm desperate. Maybe the classroom isn't going to help in my recovery! x
  6. Thanks Super Mario, blood pressure varies and GP has checked. GP gave me beta blockers but they made me feel strange. Have tried to phase back into work but signed off sick for another month as I was so tired. The nurses at the hospital say I will get a return of headaches going back to work. I'm a teaching assistant.
  7. Hello all, I'm new to this, trying to find reassurance as sicky headaches have returned six months on.Had 3 coils fitted in September, MRI scan all clear. My head throbs and blood pressure slightly high. Felt better in November than I do now. Have to take Zoplicone at bedtime as I'm anxious about the pain.Tension in neck and shoulders too.
