  1. Hello all! My husband is almost 30 days post bleed. Spent 16 days in ICU. We have been home now for 2 weeks and he is doing great. Driving, even will return to light duty however he does have this bad fatigue that starts about the afternoon. I've read that others battle it as well. Just looking for others experiences with fatigue & how you deal with it
  2. It seems that the restlessness/anxiety has greatly subsided! Small bouts but nothing like 2 weeks ago thank you all
  3. My husband had his non aneurism bleed 17 days ago and was just discharged home from ICU. It's a "no know cause" diagnosis. We are blessed he is set to recover and do well, just struggles with his short term memory loss. Our current biggest symptom we are battling is extreme anxiety & restlessness. He's never had bouts of either before. He is constantly pacing and his heart is racing. His mind is going 100mph and he very uncomfortable because he feels awful. Our neuro does NOT want to prescribe any sedatives for he feels they'll do more harm then good, possibly Any help please
  4. Thank you all for the kind words. I too feel that time and just getting him home in familiar surroundings will help too. At least we're hoping so. Has anyone ever regained the memory from the initial onset? What really helped with your short term memory loss?
  5. Hello- 1st off let me state that finding this site is exactly what I desperately need at this time. I'm sitting with my husband in Neuro ICU for the 8th day after a nonaneurismal sah. Docs said they should be able to pull his drain and send him home by the end of the week (14 days) Physically he appears to be ok but his short term memory is shot. It's heartbreaking to hear him struggle remembering our children's name. He's currently all over the place of to where he thinks he is and why (he says someone got him sick so he fell off a bike...none of which are true) I'm super worried we won't have our sharp, active 39 year old husband/father back. I know everyone is different. Just trying to hear feedback on others experiences with short term memory loss
