  5. Hi All, Just getting my head around the Site as a Newbie........ I wonder if someone could point me in the right direction please . .... I am a nervous wreck at the moment with Anxiety and Depression and i have a raving toothache which i have left because i am terrified to go to dentist or even go outside of the house for that matter. I had my Sah April 1st which required Coiling and also Hydrocephalus which required a Ventricular a Drain. Is it safe enough to have a teeth extracted so soon after Bleed . ((((( I am worried sick ))))) ...........I am shaking like a leaf just writing about this Thanks in Advance.
  6. Thank You so much for your replies . I still havent taken my Sertraline but i think i am going to start them this Evening............ I do so admire you all for how you are getting on with your lives after such a traumatic time. I am so pleased i found this site there is so much on here to learn from and it is written from people who have gone through it and know what you are talking about when you write something thats worrying you (Thank You) .. It is as though once you have left Hospital after a couple of visits from The Physio in your home to see how well you are using The Frame or The Stairs you are just left to get on with it.
  7. Hi , I am also a new member and still getting my head around this wonderful site. I had my first SAH in 2005 after a Head Injury when i fell and hit my head. That injury left me with Balance issues and 24/7 Tinnitus etc etc. It took years for me to start getting a bit of confidence and a bit of life back.... Then 8 wks ago out of the blue i suffered another SAH That resulted in a Ventricular drain being fitted and then a Coil Embolisation of Intracranial Aneurysm. ( This is how it is written on my Hospital Discharge paper ) I am also absolutely Terrified of the same thing happening again and i am writing this feeling so Depressed and Tearful . I have next to me a Prescription for the Antidepressant Sertraline 50 mg which i am scared stiff to take because someone has told me it can cause Brain Bleeds. I am in such a state at the moment with Anxiety i just dont know what to do for the best .
  8. I had an Aneurysmal Subachranoid Haemorrage April 1st and had it coiled. I was in Hospital for 3wks and i feel since coming home that i am not doing very well at all it has been 3/4wks now since i came home . I still can hardly get around the house without the aid of a frame for the feeling that i am going to fall over. The depression and Anxiety i feel is through the roof at the moment. Will i ever get any better ??
