  1. You are welcome and happy thanksgiving. I will give more as soon as things back home in Burma are betteršŸ™
  2. Yes stiffness might not be related to sah. You can turn your head very slowly to almost touch the shoulders on each side. You can look up and look down slowly. That is the physical therapy easiest way for neck. You can also use an ice pack but do not touch bare skin with the ice pack. See doctor if neck/ c spine x ray was not done to see if there is arthritis. I cannot give medical advice on what to take since I donā€™t know allergies and interactions. Hope you are better.
  3. Yes one cannot measure depression/ anxiety like one can for sugar or cholesterol. Talk to a therapist sometimes they are as helpful as meds.
  4. I m not allowed to give you advice and I donā€™t prescribe it. But it s good for people with cancer pain, seizures, pain after back surgeries, thoracic outlet syndrome etc etc. it is good if one can decrease the other pain meds that are more addictive. One has to talk to the doc to make sure . It depends on what other meds are. I would not agree for a 20 yr old who wants it for anxiety but it is ok for someone who had back surgery, trying to work 40 hrs, may be overweight , other issues such as lupus, gout, rheumatoid etc. One can take other meds that are not addictive as well.
  5. You are very welcome. Merry Xmas and happy holidays.šŸŽ„
  6. I know I m not supposed to give advice. Not sure how old he is. Does he have diabetes, blood pressure issues etc. How is he eating? Sometimes they need adjusting. See eye doctor too if not seen in one year. Fall precautions are very important. Not sure if you have home health where they come to you for physical therapy and vital checks etc. lots of fluids, rest, no stress. See if there are things that need to be looked in to such as weakness, slurred speech, change in mental state etc and please let someone know asap. You guys have heat wave now so it is very important to stay hydrated not just water but electrolytes too.
  7. See a neurologist please. Might need follow up mri to see if lesions have changed. Rest, sleep, hydrate, donā€™t stress.
  8. Her shining personality stays in our hearts forever.
  9. Take it easy, rest, hydrate, make sure you are vaccinated. You can scroll through some of the threads but please donā€™t do many in one day as you need to rest your eyes and brain. I think there is a post about letter from your brain. It is helpful. Vitamin d at Covid times. Goodluck to you.
  10. You are very welcome. Merry Xmas and happy holidays.
  11. Good to hear that you are doing well frmertd. I m sorry your ex wife does not get it. It is important to have someone who understands you. Try to rest since working in urgent care/ er can be challenging. At least we have control of our schedules and can limit people we see. Try to limit screen and phone time also and rest. Try meditation. I m doing one oct 8-17th coming up my first time since 2019 and I have done two home course with zoom oct 2020 and March 2021. It relaxes the brain and we used to have some er doc from South Carolina came up as well as some other docs and nurses. Have a good rest of the week everyone.
  12. Try meditation. It will relaxes your mind. There is Imc uk there and you can find Joseph Goldstein tapes online I believe. It might be fraustrating to keep the mind focused at one point but you will see it relaxes the body and mind tremendously. We are not allowed to give you medical advice but you will find that many threads are helpful to you. Good luck.
  13. Oh that is very strange. I was just thinking about Winnie not knowing it has been a year because I think that new members wonā€™t know her but they can still read her posts. This is also mother s day weekend too. We all miss you.
  14. Welcome . You will find many posts here helpful. Rest and lots of fluids. Get the covid vaccine if you havenā€™t already. Please be patient. Not sure if his neuro can help with symptoms. He is lucky to have a caring spouse/partner.
  15. Donated some money to BTG in memorium to win. We will all miss her. I thought about her this weekend when I had to dye my hair myself. she always made us smile. May she rest in peace.
  16. I donā€™t even have words to say. I am very sorry for your loss. I was just thinking about her this weekend. RIPšŸ˜æšŸ˜æšŸ˜æšŸ˜æšŸ˜æ
  17. You are very welcome. I humbly learn about many things from this site including medicine, side effects, life, history etc etc. Merry Xmas to everyone.
  18. I sent some last week. We ll all try to pinch in something for this website. I think it s a very good idea to save 5$ or 5Ā£ per week or month. I do understand it is not easy to keep a website. We do have emr system and it needs monthly fee for the IT personnel. Sometimes there are unseen fees.
  19. I donā€™t think noise and lots of motion are good for anyone's brain, especially if you've had a SAH.
