  1. Yes stiffness might not be related to sah. You can turn your head very slowly to almost touch the shoulders on each side. You can look up and look down slowly. That is the physical therapy easiest way for neck. You can also use an ice pack but do not touch bare skin with the ice pack.

See doctor if neck/ c spine x ray was not done to see if there is arthritis. I cannot give medical advice on what to take since I don’t know allergies and interactions. Hope you are better.

  2. I m not allowed to give you advice and I don’t prescribe it. But it s good for people with cancer pain, seizures, pain after back surgeries, thoracic outlet syndrome etc etc. it is good if one can decrease the other pain meds that are more addictive. One has to talk to the doc to make sure .

It depends on what other meds are. I would not agree for a 20 yr old who wants it for anxiety but it is ok for someone who had back surgery, trying to work 40 hrs, may be overweight , other issues such as lupus, gout, rheumatoid etc.

One can take other meds that are not addictive as well.

  3. I know I m not supposed to give advice. Not sure how old he is. Does he have diabetes,  blood pressure issues etc. How is he eating? Sometimes they need adjusting. See eye doctor too if not seen in one year. Fall precautions are very important.

Not sure if you have home health where they come to you for physical therapy and vital checks etc. lots of fluids, rest, no stress. See if there are things that need to be looked in to such as weakness, slurred speech, change in mental state etc and please let someone know asap.

You guys have heat wave now so it is very important to stay hydrated not just water but electrolytes too.

  4. Good to hear that you are doing well frmertd. I m sorry your ex wife does not get it. It is important to have someone who understands you. Try to rest since working in urgent care/ er can be challenging. At least we have control of our schedules and can limit people we see.

Try to limit screen and phone time also and rest.  Try meditation. I m doing one oct 8-17th coming up my first time since 2019 and I have done two home course with zoom oct 2020 and March 2021. It relaxes the brain and we used to have some er doc from South Carolina came up as well as some other docs and nurses.

Have a good rest of the week everyone.

  5. Try meditation. It will relaxes your mind. There is Imc uk there and you can find Joseph Goldstein tapes online I believe. It might be fraustrating to keep the mind focused at one point but you will see it relaxes the body and mind tremendously. We are not allowed to give you medical advice but  you will find that many threads are helpful to you. Good luck.
