  2. Hello everyone. I'm brand new to this site and very happy to have found it. I'm 33 and suffered a minor stroke on 9th January 2017. It left me with a visual field defect on my lower left side. After reporting it to the doctor/ DVLA my driving licence was quickly revoked. I was diagnosed with a minor stroke following an MRI. Investigations into the cause of the stroke found a Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) in my heart (a hole) and this was closed on 18th December 2017.
