    Hi~ I'm Lil

We've just moved to the area about 4 months ago and I'm still getting used to living back on the USA. Nice to meet you!

    Hi~ I'm Lil

It's been nearly a year since my hubby's SAH and we've moved back to the states from Korea since then. Hubby is doing well and fully functional and I am so grateful. The only thing remaining are headaches. On a scale of 1-10 he puts them at a 1 or 2. Sometimes he has no headaches for weeks at a time. Last week he had a splitting head pain he described as a hammer on his head and his skull cracking. We took him in and they did a CT and said all was well. Last week we were shoveling show~ taking turns~ and he had a huge blood rush in his head. Are these pretty normal things that happen? The worry is killing me. I've stayed in denial for the past year and not returned here because when I do see all of your posts it causes me great anxiety and it's difficult for me to cope. Recently our friend of 50~something had passed away and it all came back~ the what ifs etc. It's so heart wrenching to see my friend a widow and thinking that could have been me... Thanks for listening!

    Hi~ I'm Lil

And btw, how in the world can I change my username so my last and first name aren't out there for the world to see!?! Any help is appreciated!
  4. My hubby had a SAH on March 31st of this year and two other aneyrysms as well. On April 1st he went into surgery and 2 out of the 3 were coiled. It was about 5 days later that they found the 3rd aneurysm and he just had that coiled two days ago- on June 19th. I am an American living in South Korea and so we have had so many other hurdles of being treated in a hospital where we aren't fluent in the languagle. We've been given very little information and reading about SAH's on the net makes me sick to my stomach to know that we have survived it. Finding a group of people to learn from and share with will prove to be a blessing to say the least. All of this was quite a shock to say the least- my husband (who is 49) has always been the epitome of health and has been to the doctors office one time in all of the 22 plus years we have been married. My hubby is doing miraculously well and we are so grateful to the Lord for our health and every day that we have together. I won't lie~ this has taken its toll on my health. I have a neckache and stabbling head pains that still haven't quit after 2 1/2 months. I honestly think I was experiencing PTSD for a while too. I've got so many questions but will leave those to another time when I have more time to type. This short introduction will have to do for now and I look forward to 'meeting' everyone on the forums.
