  1. Thanks so much Swishy, both you and Mario have firmed up some ideas I was playing around with but wasn't sure about, you have helped with my confidence to take the next step. Kind regards Majella
  2. Thanks for this Mario, food for more thought. Kind regards, Majella
  3. Hello everyone Haven't posted on here for quite some time and had actually forgotten about Behind The Gray until it popped into my head in the middle of this morning's meditation. Hope everyone is travelling okay, I'm waiting on an appointment with a cardiologist specialising in electrical and have also recently had an Initial Intake Assessment with a Dementia and Memory Clinic. The memory clinic is because I've deteriorated subtly in the cognitive area including memory. The thing I grapple with most though, is the gaping hole or large space that has been left by the loss of my work/business 3 years ago. I don't seem to be able to arrive at a new purpose to fill that space. Wondering how others deal with this and what you do to fill the space. Working for nearly 50 years is a hard thing to replace and the sense of identity that goes with that. I have tried different hobbies to no avail. Would appreciate thoughts on this. Kind regards to everyone Majella
  4. Thank-you so much for this Tina. It can be scary when experiences go outside what is expected from the bleed you have had. Drs are now talking about a separate neurological condition called Functional Neurological Disorder but there is not testing for it. Bit bewildering... Kind regards Majella
  5. It's been awhile since I visited BTG as I have had other health challenges going on. Hope everyone is travelling okay .... Needing some help with a couple of things please. I had a large volume frontal lobe NASAH in January 2020. My understanding is that impacts the areas of cognitive and emotional regulation. My question: is there someone else here similar who experiences other unexpected impacts related to frontal lobe injury such as visual disturbances, physical weakness, clumsiness, fine motor skills and other weird stuff. With thanks and warm regards to fellow travellers
