Hey … my husband had a SAH due to an aneurysm 3 weeks ago ..it was coiled and he spent a week in icu due to low sodium .. he’s been home a week now and he says his head is very sensitive when touched and he is often very dizzy … can anyone else relate please xxxx

Hey me again … so my husband has been placed in an induced coma with a breathing tube .. as to aggressive… also his sodium levels were very low .. a brain scan last night shows no further bleeds .. so I’m hoping when sodium levels pick up .. he can come out of sedation.. Also they think he may have picked up an infection as he has a temp … told this is quite normal too can anyone please relate … I’m literally broken and so completely worried x

Hey … so on Sunday evening my husband’s aneurysm bled causing a SAH … he underwent emergency coiling which secured the aneurysm… after surgery he went to ITC and came around with no lasting effects apart from the obvious headache due to the blood still in his head … so got started on nimobodim .. and went up to neuro ward .. So on Wednesday things went downhill fast … he was very drowsy and still in a lot of pain .. Thursday (today) he had no idea who I am very agitated confused .. another scan revealed nothing .. he had to be sedated and returned to ITC … I’ve heard of vasospasm .. if this is the case .. sorry inbetween crying so much and trying to write .. is there a chance he will come back from this … any replies would be much appreciated… Thankyou.
