  1. Hi I know its not the same as my Sah was only 3 1/2 months ago but I suffer dizziness 24/7, constant head pain, nausea, heart palpitations, body pain and so tired, its depressing. Must be awful still feeling like that so long after, feel for you x
  2. Hi Bev, know exactly what you mean. Having felt a bit more positive I'm back to feeling scared, the feeling of dread, like something isn't right. Been feeling really horrid lately, weird pain, dizziness, like I'm not there, just weird. Dr is writing to neurologist to request I get checked earlier than six months. I'm not surprised you're feeling that way after the shock you had. Just want you to know you're not alone in those feelings xx
  3. Hi everybody, me again lol. Before my Sah I was suffering with eye pain, head pain but also blood everytime I blew my nose. My Dr put me on antibiotics in case it was sinuses. Post Sah I'm having constant problems, ****** mucus from my nose and it feels stuffy, fluid in my ears, bad eye pain, head pain. Been back to out of hours today because having really bad pain and dizziness with it and yet again more antibiotics, third lot now, plus I've had a cream and nothing works. Has anybody else suffered similar? Probably silly question and totally unrelated, its just getting me down and getting really horrid pains tonight which scare me. Thanks in advance. Lisa x
  4. You are bound to be anxious, scared and upset, what you have been told today must have been a huge shock and I for one would feel exactly the same. Have they given you any clue of recovery time etc from the op? I hope your other half is giving you lots of loving cuddles this evening after such a horrible day. I hope somebody comes along with experience in this who.can reassure you a little. I do still feel scared and anxious some days but I'm trying to not let it take over me like it was earlier on but any bad pain and I start to panic. Xx
  5. Oh hun you're bound to be scared. Of course you will survive it, look how strong you were when you had the bleed. I really feel for you and sincerely hope once its all over with you start to feel much better, both physically and emotionally xx
  6. Thanks ladies. Wem I agree about having young children helping, a 23 month old won't let me go to bed for a couple of hours, I have to play, cook, do everything I did before. My Dr makes me an appt. to see him regularly, it was weekly at first, then fortnightly and next one is three weeks. He can see I'm getting more confident instead of the wreck he was seeing at first. Will be a long time before I'm not scared though I think x
  7. That must have been a shock for you hun but so glad you finally have an answer, I know it was driving you nuts no knowing. Hope things are sorted quickly for you xx
  8. Hi all, hope you are well. Just offloading because it makes me feel better. Went for a walk to my local shop with Jacob and the dog and I got a sudden bad pain in my left eye and it started watering, I went cold as it was so similar to when I had Sah. I now have headache and eye pain but I can cope with that, it was the fear that went through me. It's horrible. I am doing really well, its only three months and when I first came out of hospital I was determined I wasn't going to bath Jacob when I was in the house alone, wasn't going to let him walk to the shop, he was going to be in his pushchair, all in case I collapsed again (crazy I know but I was terrified of something happening to him). Anyway I haven't stuck to it, I am just doing everything I did before the Sah and I'm quite relaxed and myself more days now. Will I ever stop getting into a blind panic when I get a sudden bad pain? I just thought about my baby running on the road or something, was so glad to get home. I had to lift my sofa yesterday so my daughter could get something from underneath it so maybe that's what is causing the pain. I think I will be much more relaxed once the coiling has been checked at six months. Lisa xx
  9. Hi Barry, glad to read you're relatively well apart from the memory. My Sah was only 3 months ago and my memory seems ok so far, whether that remains is another story I suppose. Take care. Lisa x
  10. Hi.. so glad they were on the ball for you, unfortunately I can't say the same, although I'm so grateful to the neuro surgeon for saving me. I'm quite new too, my Sah was 3 months ago. Sorry to read about the other annis. Take care. Lisa x
  11. Thanks as always for all your posts, it makes me feel so much better and I really appreciate it. Ern how lucky are you having a Mrs who is a doctor, can I move in with you both until I stop worrying haha. Hope you all had a great New Years Even:razz: xx
  12. Firstly that is of course happy new year not test, stupid predictive text. Secondly, thank you all. I guess I should try and take it a bit easier but its hard with kids, especially the little one. Mary I'm sorry to read you're not feeling well, hope you feel better soon and you too Sandi with your throat. It's three months on Saturday since Sah and I havent had a day yet without a headache. Apart from the weeks leading up to it I never really suffered with headaches and they're getting on my nerves now, hope its not a permanent thing. Anyway hope you're having a good evening. I'm lay on the sofa watching tv with a glass of water woohoo lol. I will make up for it next year. Lisa xx
  13. Have no idea how the smiley got in the title lol. Thanks Sarah Lou. Decided to go to see gp or I would sit worrying all night. She said I have a virus, fluid in ears, sinusy (is that even a word lol) and rattly chest. The thing is the doc said same thing before Sah and put me on antibiotics. I guess I will just have to trust her. Lisa xx
  14. Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I've been doing really well, not freaking out at every pain, staying calm and ignoring it and now I'm back to worrying again. Pre Sah, for ages I suffered pain in left side of head , eye socket and ear, then I got a thunderclap headache, severe pain in eye and a&e said it was migraine (never had a migraine), my gp put me on anti biotics in case it was sinuses, then week later worst headache, collapsed blah blah. Last two days I've had same pain but down right side, again, head, eye socket and ear. I'm trying to be logical, when I was coiled no more annis were found but fear keeps taking over logic because its so similar. If it were the left side i could probably convince myself that its healing pain. The neuro nurse last time I spoke to her said I'm fixed, she is more at risk now than me but its so hard not to be scared. Sorry for prattling on... Wishing you all a happy healthy new test. Lisa xx
  15. Hi Win, glad you are ok. Been checking in for your post x
  16. It was ok, the Neuro nurse came in with me which was lovely of her. They were just asking what my fears were and I said it was the coils moving, having a rebleed and leaving my kids. The nurse explained about the coiling, what happens if they settle blah blah so it made me feel a bit better but it will be a long time before Im not so scared about it all I think. The neuropsychologist has given me a list of what I have to say to myself lol. I have to tell myself that it is highly unlikely I will have a rebleed, my pains and feeling so ill are healing pains and I will have good and bad days xx
  17. Having been pregnant and then breastfeeding for the last two Christmas' I would have loved to have a couple of drinks but it's too early days for me and Im constantly dizzy and fuzzy headed as it is so looks like it's a glass of water, bahhhh humbug lol x
  18. Hi Win, I hope everything has gone well at the doctor's and it's just a bone like your hubby said. Will keep an eye out for your update to check all is well xx
  19. Thanks bev, do you think if I ask nicely a Dr will move in with me, just until I get the first year out the way lol. I'm like you, would quite happily have lots of scans to make sure everything is ok and coils are still where they're supposed to be etc xx
  20. It really does help when you know you are not alone in your symptoms. Had three days of painful stabbing pains on the side of the Sah which have been scary but seem to have eased (I hope). What confuses me is my Dr says any new symptoms or vomiting, fever etc then phone straight away whereas when I spoke to the neuros assistant, the nurse whose number I was given on discharge, she says I'm fixed, I'm safer than she is, no danger if coils settle as it won't cause rebleed which scares me, they will see it on my checks and it will be fixed. Surely its not all that simple, she makes out as if there is no risk now. Have an appt. with a neuropsychologist today, hope it helps xx
  21. Just got a fright, got really bad stabbing pains in the side of my head I had the Sah, they were really bad and have really scared me. I'm so fed up of all this. I really hope your angiogram goes well in January. The fact they missed your bleed for so long is disgusting. It seems to be so common when reading people's stories that they were sent home. I'm from Manchester xx
  22. I get anxious when my symptoms get bad which probably makes my symptoms worse so its a viscious cycle isn't it. I too have little faith in my local a&e and Dr as I went the week before with a severe thunderclap headache and they sent me home saying it was migraine never had migraine in my life), then saw gp few days later as it was still there and he sent me to eye hospital to check eye pressure as he thought it was my eyes, then a few days later I got the most terrible pain collapsed, unconscious and when I came round the pain and vomiting were horrendous and paramedic said it was migraine, told me to stop panicking and made me walk to the ambulance. It was all a blood y nightmare xx
  23. Hi Bev, so glad to hear that cbt is working for you this time. Really hope she can make you feel better. My gp also increased my anti d dosage yesterday so it could be the jab which is making me sick and feel so rotten today. Wish I could get over this fear that everything is going to lead to something serious. I get fuzzy eyesight but no lights etc xx
  24. Hi guys... Did any of you suffer being sick in the early days. Feel rotten, so dizzy, headache and the nausea is terrible, had to run to the bathroom earlier and was retching but was only sick a little. It eased and now its back again really bad and I feel like I'm going to be sick. Of course its making me worry because I feel so awful. Had flu jab yesterday and was wondering if that could have contributed. Thanks as always for any replies x
