Hi

My daughter had SAH at 17 years old, coming up for her 10 years anniversary I wanted to share what an amazing year she has had.

On August 2nd she married the most supportive and loving husband. The celebration was emotional on many levels, but the pride I feel every day was multiplied a thousand fold.

She is strong, resilient and the most determined person I know. She still has her 'off' days, but has learned how to manage  those, it's not always easy, but we are thankful every day for the care and support she has received over the years.

We never thought the day would come, but, yet again, she has achieved her dream.

Congratulations Heather you have a good right to be proud of your daughter

she’s overcome so many challenges in the past ten year for such a young woman.

Im sure I met you and your daughter when we used to go to the support group at the hospital before COVID

She also worked at the hospital at the time.

You need a big pat on the back for all you’ve done over the years

Hi Clive

yes, we did go to support group, it was an important part of her recovery.
she still does some work at the hospital, working with young patients.
I hope you are well.
