  1. yes this site is great I am not to good on wording stuff ,so I tend to just read others and it is always a great help.lesley I to had my bleed whilst cleaning my teeth strange sensations etc ,,,I was in hospital for I think 24 days after my clipping I work in a paper mill on shifts and doing a phased return to work but with luck on the 24th of this month back fulltime ,8 days past the year of my op....I to still get emotional and very tired but as much as feel down at times I to know how very lucky to be alive ...time we all need time and like me enjoy this site .

  2. it sounds to me you doing everything right ,I had a sah last june ,fathers day to be precise and had mine clipped ...I was rushed to Southampton after surgery I spent along time in high dependacy to long then to ward all together 25 days in hospital..just knowing someone was there for me was great and my wife was and is my angel ,could not of got through it without her ..family are important just continue to do what you are doing it will all be ok ,,,,and defo do not be to hard on yourself and tell him not to be to hard on himself it all takes time ,,I am now nearly a year down the line and looking to return to my shift work now been a long time and even now I have effects like thirst ,funny tastes,headaches and the big one fatigue kind regards shaun

  3. hi had my event 11 months ago and had it clipped ,been back to work for the last 8 weeks but as I work in a papermill on a shift system due" only if to get paid" back on the night shift,,,,just wondered if anyone else have done this if so any issues? I have heard there might be a risk of post seizures and fits thanks

  4. Welcome to BTG, Jude. It's great that you've found it... so many people on here who know exactly what you're going through, how you're feeling, because they've been through it too, and are living it.

    You'll find much support with others and tons of great information. It is a shame that we aren't given much information or help following the SAHs, but good there are sites like these to come to.

    totally agree I am new to here and already found it a great help not having to explain myself to any one is wonderfull
