  2. Hello Prue and lovely to hear from you again! ... :-D

I still get the odd "worrying" headache .... like Tina, I take one Paracetamol and one Ibuprofen and the mix of the two, seems to work better for me than taking Paracetamol on it's own. If it gets really bad, then I keep one of those freezer ice/gel packs handy and wrap it in a tea towel and also stick that on my head or where the pain is.... it seems to help....as does a kip!

Hope that you're feeling better soon Prue ... if you feel that your headache is out of the ordinary, then keep bugging the GP and they should hopefully refer you on to your local hospital to see someone that specialises in brain injury.

    Lots of love, xx

Hi karen so lovely to hear from you,as you know I have not been on for ages, had a rough patch,Iseem to go down hill after my dog ,had a lunber puncture(could not find any thing wrong)(they could not see behond my coiling )then the headaces started ,they have been bad, which really worried me,its been a job to remember(what to do on the Internet)driving then was a problem but now I amback to driving, and now trying to pick myself up again,(so if i make some mistakes fogive me,)at least Iknow many others suffer them as well, hope you are going on o k ,speak to you soon, lotsof love pruexxx

Hi janet thank you so much for your reply(yours is exactly in the same place as mine,) it is all so scary.I have not been sent to any consultant,(I did have a lumber punture) but it did not show anything,(the scary part is you cant see what is happening) was given amatriptolene (BUT WAS TO SCARED TO TAKE IT)so only take paracetomol.so nice to hear from you thaks again. love prue.

  6. hi to all of you, have not been on line for some time, hope you all are recovering well, had my sah 20 months ago,and am doing quite well, back to driving and most normal things one does, the worst thing is that i suffer from a lot of headaches, round the back of the head and over the top,my doctor says that it is in the skull which is seperate from the brain, and it could be coming from my neck ,which is bad ,but that does not stop me worrying, any comments from you good people my regards to michille and karen, and to you all prue

  7. hi Terry my name is prue I had my sah 25 9 2008 and can relate to all you say,(me to was a lot better coping ,then than I AM NOW,) and I am only 9 weeks into all of It,to day I to tried to help with decorations, could just not get Interested,(normally I would love it )I think I would dare to think,(what I would have been like If I had not had the help of this site.everybody has been wonderfull,) and all the support you could possibly,(wish for) others have Improved ,so IM sure we will.(given time ) lots love prue

  8. hi tina I saw my consultant IN october she asked If I had any children, I have 1 son ,49, she said if he wished he could be checked ,I also had a sister who died 3 years ago, age 72 I did not even know what an sah was, (but it was on her death cert.) and I did not know what It meant[( untill Ihad mine ) 3 years later, and when mine started Iwent to the local hospital ,(with a severe headache , they told me I had an ear Infection and sent me home,) gave me 2 paracetimols next day I was worse saw another doctor she said ear plus urine Infection,by sunday (no surgery ) so went to another hospital (out of hours doctor) sent straight for a scan and sent to the neuro surgical unit (in all6 days later was operated on) sah, so I consider how lucky Iwas ,as that was 9 weeks ago to day.( and still did not realise then that my sister had died from that )so some dont worry about it, but I Ihonestly dont know who to believe. I just think how really lucky Iwas (after all the 6 days that I was not dead,) love pruexxx =Tina]Hi Lilnan :D

My Doctor says it is not hereditary and not to worry about my kids, no test needed......try not to worry ...easy to say i know....good luck xx

    Love Tina xx
