It hits me in waves some days im ok others i cry for most of it , ut i have found what i am going thriugh is normal for somone who nearly died and has had there world turned upside down with no warning!! I think it can only help you.

Take care any time you need to talk abt anything as we are on the same time scale give us a PM .

  2. Just another question!!!! Do you or did you have any palpitations since your SAH. I had a few when i came home just around tea time, but they soon went away. I have had a few this week and today i had then all morning so i called into the Doc's who saw me straight away, he said he would do a ECG if they contiued . I also had a PE (blood clot in the lung) 2 weeks after the SAH and im on medi's for that warfarin, so it could be that. Any clues would e good:-D

Take care , Thanks Rhiann xx

  3. I'm six months on, ive started back to work but only a few hrs, and im exhasted, but i still try and do some walking as i do feel better after it. Listen to your body , do alittle and see how you feel dont rush it as you will go backwards in your recovery i've learnt that the hard way:crazy:

    Enjoy and take care Rhiann

P.S. before the SAH i did boxersize three times aweek and was very fit, but now i could'nt even do the warm up yet :(

  4. I am six months post SAH , i too have these mini anixtey rushes just before i go to sleep where i have to wake up , as my heart is racing, does'nt happen everynight, just when im really tired. I also have a problem falling asleep as i can feel my heart beating, it can be in my head or just in my body, very weird for me as i never felt my heart beating before, it frecks me out abit!! Maybe it's because i've lost abt stone and a half in weight since i've been sick. Did anyone else feel this ???

  5. Hi everyone just a question.

Did or do you suffer with aches and pains? I know that is normal for us to have pain in our necks which i have. But i also have suffered with pains in the face, 1st started in the forehead then a month later moved to the nose and cheek bones for a couple of months, now i have it in the jaw in the front of my neck amd across my chest. My chest aches everynight. Maybe im just a freak!!!!!! Been to the doc who doesnt know what it is but thinks its relative to the SAH .

Anybody with any answers would be great:-D

Fatgiue is a big one for me too, although it is improving alittle. I seem to have good periods then follwed by bad period, i to think it is around my periods. I get nausea when feeling at my worst. I think it is all part of the reovery.

It is such a big thing that has happenened and a big change that the counseler told me that i am going through a griefing period which would explain the crying !! Hope the rest of your recovery is going well :-D

  9. Hiya i have three times now since SAH in June had feellings of nausea extreme fatigue and really funny heads when its knocked me off my feet for about tens days at a time , i went to the GP and he thought at first it was a stomach bug as i felt so sick , but when it occured again about month lately he seemed to think it was part of the recovery as he gave me full set of bloods which came back clear and checked the perssure in the eyes which was all ok. These espoides started about four months after the SAH , im six months on now and hopfully won't have another one as bad as they were. Hope that helps RHiann :-D

  10. Thank you Ann it was just what i needed to read. Im almost post 6months now and feel that ill never get there, but as you wrote it does take time. I too felt the DR's where nuts when they told me how long i'd be ill, i thought " They don't know me, it want take me that long " but as time goes on they are proving me wrong!! Exhastion is the hardest thing for me at the moment with bad headaches, but hoping with time this will improve as it has with you.

Thanks again for the update as it does pick us up when we are early on in our recovery

    Thanks Rhiann xxxx

  11. Hiya Jan, txs for the message.

I too go hell for leather on good days then i feel really bad for days on end , then i stress that i am ill again!! So still have not learnt to pace myself, but when you have young kids and you have always done everything its hard to slow down. When i feel good i just cant help myself even tho it still is only running at 50% its soooo much more then when i feel bad. I to suffer with my patience , i just want to be back to my old self, its taking a long time for me to realise this is a new me !! For two days now i've been very tired and got headaches, but i know it will pass but i just wont it to be over:frown:

I've been signed off from the neuro team now as i didnt have an anni. Im left in my GP care, who has never had a SAH patient before, but still he is very understanding and sayes we will beat this together.

Hope you get some answer to some question when you for your appt. Keep us updated , look forward to hearing off you.

    Take care Rhiann xx

  16. Thanks guys for answering. I've already got the coil fitted because of heavy periods and painful ones. But the Doc said i should have it removed as it has not worked for me. Had my Iron and elts b12 mag checked all came back normal, so im going to ask him to check my hormone levels now and when i have a period just incase its making it worse.

    Thanks again Rhiann xxxx

  17. Hiya everyone, just a question. Did or do you suffer with your hormones and perods since your SAH. I seem to go down hill everytime i have a period. Im exhasted , have feelings of sickness and my headaches are really bad. Also suffer with hot flushes and im only 34!! Im going to go to the doc's and get my levels checked, just wondering if anyone else had any problems. Thanks for reading Rhiann xxxx

  18. Thanks everyone, been to the doc's today where he has sent some more blood test off and given me some anti sickness tablets, so hopefully that will work. Nice to hear off people from back home, im missing Wales at the moment , but at the same time love it here in Perth AU, the kids love it here. It seems at the moment im having a couple of good weeks where i get things Done and feel ok and then i go down like a ton of bricks and end up in bed for a week. Anyway thanks for the warm welcome and G'day from down under :-D
