hi everyone, im 56 years of age i live with my husband .i had my SAH on the 17th july 2011. it was a sunday afternoon when it happened and my husband took me to A/E i felt really ill ,my head was hurting so much and my neck. because the staff said ill have to wait my turn to be seen . but if ive got chest pain they will see me straight away. so i waited and waited.then i did something really silly. i went home. because i thought it cant be serious. i went straight to bed and i was being sick in the night. after 2 days feeling ill i went to the doctors ,and he said i had a bleed in the brain so i then went to the hospital, had a brain scan and then tranfered to coventy where i stayed for 3 weeks. i didnt know at the time but i had high blood pressure. im now on blood pressure tablets for life. i now get very confussed, when i talk, i know what i want to say but then i say the wrong word. but im still here and alive.
