  1. Think that might be my problem too, it's only 8 weeks ago and I've been home alone looking after a house and two children, one of which is going through the terrible twos early lol, for over two weeks. I find it so hard to get my head around and just want to be normal. Im feeling so ill this week so I too will have to try and take it easy and relax a little xx

  2. Hi Lorraine. I also had a SAH which was coiled 8 weeks ago. I suffer headaches and weird pains, dizziness etc everyday and have received lots of reassurance off the guys on here that its normal. I'm so scared since it happened and am so glad I found this site. I'm so sorry to read that you have other aneurysms and wish you all the luck in the world for March. Lisa xx

  3. Bev, yes I think about it, or should say worry about it constantly, day in day out but I feel so rubbish everyday that its hard not too. It's like some kind of nightmare. I'm wishing time away in the hope that I'm still here and feeling a little more normal xx. Penny I really feel for you having this dizziness for all those years. Having read lots of posts on here I remember one about area of bleed and if it caused same symptoms. I'm sure I recall yours being the same as mine, left pcomm or something. I seriously hope I'm not stuck with these feelings xx

  4. Thanks Daff. I don't actually worry about another SAH when I'm feeling really ill, I worry about things happening as a result of the SAH. I really hate this off balance dizzy feeling because it affects my limbs as well as my head. I really hope one day I will become as positive as you and can just accept these feelings, although its doubtful because they scare me to death xx

  5. I'm really sorry for keep posting my depressing posts but have to pretend to be happy mummy in front of my children so need to offload somewhere and nobody understands like you guys. I seriously can't cope with this dizzy/spaced out/off balance feeling (its so hard to describe). Even when I'm lying down my legs feel floaty/off balance. It goes off for a couple of days but has been back with a vengeance for the last three. Does it sound normal? I am also getting stabbing pains in my head and eyes. I am always so scared that something bad is going to happen. I just feel like my life has been destroyed. Lisa xx

  6. Hi Sandi, thanks for reply.

I am getting many 'weirdo' symptoms but this is the worst I think. I have been to the doctors and hospital so many times with it. It's a mystery but a very painful mystery. At least it's keeping my mind off the scary head pains I guess lol.

    Lisa xx

  7. Hi all, hope you are all well. Have posted about this pain before but just wish I could get some answers. It's 8 weeks today since my SAH (wow two months, only feels like yesterday) and since getting out of hospital have suffered severe pain in my left lung. I have been sent to a&e where I had chest xray, ecg and bloods, nothing found, I was sent to the chest clinic on Wednesday and had same tests again, nothing found. They have told me to take dyclofenac, pain killers and go back in four weeks. I am so fed up, I am getting no sleep because the pain is so bad everytime I breathe. It's on the same side I had the SAH. Just wish I knew what it was so I could get it sorted and then maybe get some sleep. Pointless post, just having a moan. Lisa xx

  8. As always thanks for your replies. Ended up phoning for advice and was sent to a&e where I was given s CT scan. My local hospital wanted to keep me in as the Dr said they don't know enough about Sah's and wanted to keep an eye on me. Luckily they got in touch with hope and spoke to a consultant who looked at my scan via computer and said I could go home. Hope these weird head feelings are not here to stay, its awful xx

  9. Hi Steve, obviously different circumstances as my SAH was only 7 weeks ago so have a lot of recovering to do but recently I started with a lot of pressure and tightness in my head, headaches have been worse, terrible nausea and dizziness. I was sent to a&e on Friday and was given a CT scan which was fine. I returned home alone with my two children a week ago so maybe I'm doing too much, trying to return to normal I guess. My point is if just normal day to day stuff is making me so ill I should imagine all the physical stuff you have done has a part to play in it. I hope you start to feel better again soon. It's so distressing and scary when the symptoms don't ease. Lisa xx

  10. Thank you ladies. No Mary I'm in the UK. I didn't have hydrocephalus Daff but have seen a few posts about it on here and thought you could get it a while after SAH, is more reassuring if its unlikely. I need to learn to stop going into a panic when I have worse days. The dizziness and headache today are awful xx

  11. Hi all, had a couple of not too bad days this week but last night and today are really bad again. I'm so dizzy today its terrible, headache, nausea, neck pain and weakness in arms and legs so of course I'm starting to panic. I start thinking what if its hydrocephalus or something. I won't get appt. at my gps today as they won't give you one if you don't phone at 8.30. I really hate all this :-( xx

  12. Thank you all for the helpful tips, will try anything. Doctor is saying it's sinus because I woke up with blood in my mouth the other morning, it's a little like de ja vu, I was put on antibiotics for sinuses a few days before SAH as was having same sort of symptoms as Im having now.

I must admit that coming home has been good for me, Im not sat thinking as much as I dont have time (sick days are not allowed when you have children lol). I still have my panics when I get bad pain and dizziness but nowhere near as bad. I must admit Im shattered though, back to cleaning (although only bits) and cooking so by teatime I could just go to bed and usually feel pretty rotten. I just want to get back to normal, this couldnt have happened at a worse time, right before Christmas, have so much to do and no energy to do it but hey ho, I will get there.

I want to thank you all again for helping me, I would have been in an even worse state if I hadnt had you all for reassurance. Looking forward to the day when every little pain doesnt send my nerves on edge.

    Lisa xxx

  13. God no its nothing like the Sah headache, that was horrendous but its painful and keep getting bad pain in my left eye which is where I got the pain when I had the haemorrhage. I'm quite calm at the moment surprisingly despite this damn headache and eye pain. Thanks win. Ps don't know how to accept friend request on phone so will do it when I get on laptop xx

  14. As always thank you for the reassuring replies everyone. My problem is I don't know when I should contact a Dr or when its just normal expected pain etc, its a nightmare lol. Win I will have to try the john Wayne film to see if it sends me to the land of nod, I'm waking constantly since the Sah and up at the crack of dawn. Daff I will try the eating a bit more regularly, not much of an appetite at the mo.and have lost so much weight, need to get some meat on my bones. David I am taking ibuprufen and paracetamol but its not doing the trick xx
