Hi Steve

Yes I lost a lot of hearing in my right ear and have had tinnitus since then.Mine was caused by a vasospasm which seemed to cause a stroke in my ear. It happened about a week after I had my aneurysm coiled. I don't notice the tinnitus any more unless I think about it.

 

At the time the doctors didn't pay a lot of attention to my hearing loss as so much else was going on. In my case I would have needed treatment almost immediately to have had a chance of regaining my lost hearing.
