  1. My first hospital was coleraine and other than the doctor telling me i could go home if i wanted at the start (stayed as i was in so much pain)i have nothing bad to say about it . When i was moved to the Royal Victoria I have to say the level of care i got was great !!! maybe a bit scarey at times because they moved so quick (not complaining). The worse part for me was trying to get home My consultant dicharged me but the nurses wouldnt let me go ( im such a loveable person ) They told my dad and husband that i was pretending not to be in pain just to get home and they were to worried to let me go

  2. Hi Dawn i most of us feel abandoned after leaving hospital i would ring the hospital and try to see if they can get anyone to speak to you the larger hospitals in england seem to have nurses to talk to. i was lucky in the fact that i was referred to plenty of people but i keep going back and forward as noone was will to take me on stroke group said it was a brain injury group i needed so i was refered to them and they refered me to the stroke group swings and roundabouts. i changed GP a few months after coming out of hospital as i didnt feel my needs where been meet but i didnt do much difference. My GP hasnt seen me in 11 months even though i am still on strong painkillers which i have on script they just keep supplying them:crazy:. I am also waiting on scan results from December which i have heard nothing !!!. The best thing i find is talking to friends /family air out any concerns you have and you can talk to us anytime bigs hugs your way

  3. Hi David sounds like your having a hard enough time at the minute without work been on your back. Hope everthing turns out ok with your wife.

I cant help on the work/going back to work as the job i did previous to my bleed will never be an option for me again. I wouldnt let your boss push you into anything you cant handle as you dont want to get worse could you maybe work from home on top of your 28 hours for a few months personally i think 28 hours is a great acchivemnet im doing permitted work and can barely get in 8 hours on a good week

hope things go ok with the boss later

will say a prayer for you and your wife
