Karen
Hiya, We have that poem on the website .... it's very good.. Think that you're right and don't worry, you've put your point across well....brain damage after a SAH/Stroke is very individual..... I have always accepted that, but it's hard sometimes, to get others, close to you, to accept it and they need to be told by the "experts". When they read stuff like, you need to have 3 months off works etc. they tend to think that you'll be fully recovered by that point. I know how I feel and I know my limitations, but I sometimes get fed up with being expected to be able to do more than I can......I try as hard as I can to achieve "normality", but it's not always possible. That may be their problem and not mine.....but trying to get that across can be extremely difficult. You tend to end up feeling like a failure and questioning the reason why you can't be the person that other people expect you to be.
Blondie
Thanks Karen. I know what you mean - I end up feeling like I'm being a total wimp because people think I'm 100% all the time. Take care Blondie x
