bogbrush
Hi If you live in England or Scotland and have to pay for your prescriptions, getting a Pre-Payment Certificate (PPC) may save you money. You can save even more if you wait 4 weeks before renewing your PPC. Pick up your prescriptions just before the card expires, then get your new one to start 4 weeks later. 13 months for the price of 12 ! A 12 month PPC currently costs £98.70 http://www.ppa.org.uk/ppa/ppc_intro.htm Regards Keith
Guest linzi
Thanks for that Keith. Just to let you all know, if you didn't already.. Scotland has reduced the price of prescriptions (per item) and the quaterly and annual fees. Per item is now £5 and the certificates for per quarter/annum have been halved. This came into place at the start of April, this year (08). By 2011, the are saying prescription costs will be gone in Scotland, just like, I believe it is now in Wales. A great idea though re the 13 months for 12. Cheers x
