I walk pushing my wheelchair but after approx 80 yards my back aches real bad...so if you see

me walking in shopping centre near you...I am the one with the big bottom sticking out...not bad as after I had my SAH the Therapists said to my hubby and daughter to mourn who I was as I'd never walk or be the same again........and they said to my daughter to put me in a home...My daughter and hubby said

No!!!!! we will take her home.........my life is back to nearly normal......!!!!! whatever that is nowdays All

I know is that I'm Loved so I am happy

I find getting the lid off my chocs tires me out......seriously though do what you feel comfy with and no more.

We Should all listen to our bodies/brain

And so very true... I think I bought more shoes, clothes and a really nice bag in the last 5 months than in the previous year!

( I have put my creditcard in the freezer for a while..

Every time I ask my husband "Was I Like This/That " .... He says " You Still are" !!!!!! and we laugh.....there are days when I feel down...but shopping helps...spend spend and chocolates !!!!!!

All of us need to smile and be happy...We have been through it..we can either smile or feel sorry for ourselves......I feel better to smile...although I can be a right misery ...So Be happy all xxxxxxx

I am fine Jen..apart from not being able to walk...but How I was.....well it was pretty bad or so am told....when I was in dream world..I kept seeing my parents and family who had died...it was like a big party,

apart from my Mum never talking to me ....I know this sounds silly but it was so real.......glad to be with My Family again...I'm glad the Doctors said the shunt would benefit me...if anyone is in doubt about having a shunt fitted...talk to Doctors as for me it was the right thing

Hi everyone who helped my daughter while I was out of it....... ....she let me read the posts she sent and your replies to her....nice to know she was in good hands......I was so glad to see my daughter and hubby again....

It's been 16 months since my SAH now. I still find it frustratin g that I cant make others (even family members) understand how strange things feel. BTG has been my salvation. Everyone here understands and It makes me feel I'm still a part of the real world. I can never thank the organisers of this site enough.

Glad for this tsite as I had SAH 2009 July.. Been living with dead and alive people.....saw my parents and brother we had sing song but my Mum wouldn't speak to me she kept pointing to my husband and daughter

In August this year I had a shunt fitted I feel like my old self...apart from not being able to walk...but I will walk

......took 4 steps at Christmas...my husband and daughters smile wow, so Never give up
