  2. Hi Mollie, I must say I completely agree with all on here. My mum is suffering from depression and shows outward signs by heaving and tapping her legs etc. No endof people have commented on how recovered i am in comparison to her cos she shows outwrad symptoms! Then want to live with the tiredness, emotions and headaches etc that comes with our lives. Sami- I was exactly the same when I found out that that a friend had dies of a brain haem, even though he wasn't a great friend, I was devaststated. a) it was close to home and I just couldn't cope with the emotions. We have to think of all our great friends here for real understanding support Love and hugs Laura xx

  5. Hi Kate, Welcome to this wonderful family xx May this web site help you and give you lots of support and advice to aid your dads recovery. I too was coiled but have never had a fit since. It has been discussed before though I remember. If you use the search button at the top of the screen and type epilepsy you will see a list of times it has been mentioned before and you will be able to see all the posts listed. I just had a quick look for you and there seems to be plenty of people mentioned them before. Hope this helps- if you need any more help to navigate round the search facility then shout- more than willing to help Love and hugs Laura xx
  6. Hi Donna, I wouldn't say it was an obsession, I would say you was following the hospitals advice. I carry a drink with me most days when I'm out too especially at football etc incase I get dizzy and then I try and take my mind off of it by drinking! Laura xx
  7. Donna- How much was you drinking then for the doc to say that?? Or was it the drink (lager etc) that he took a dislike to the quantities!! I only have normal coffee at my mums because I keep forgetting to buy a jar at decaff!!! They even have decaff for me at work! Love and hugs Laura xx
  8. Jess- do you have de-caff coffee? I have de-caff coffee and still get lots of headaches! Laura xx
  9. Hi Vivienne, Just to let you know you are not alone. I cry at the smallest of things, work, home, because I have a headache you name it I cry! I even have friends and family who ring me to tell me what programmes they hope i've taped and not watched so that I can cry to them on a stronger day rather than a normal day! They all know how bad i am! Sorry tp waffle on but tears are part of an everyday existence now! I did use to be quite an emotional person anyway but nothing like I am now. Hope this helps Laura xx

  14. Hi Caroline, I'm nearly 2 and a half years on and yes I still get weak legs. It tends to be the leg that that used to put the coils in that is worst. The consultant told me that it could be an after effect of the operation because me leg had took a lot of bruising and the consultant also said that my other leg would try and compensate and thats why I have problems with that. It is worse first thing in the morning and when i'm tired though. Hope this helps a bit Love and hugs Laura xx

  18. Hi Penny, Yes there is no way I could work with secondary children, they are loud enough at 5! It is odd with concerts as well, i am now better at music concerts than I was before, beforeI would complain if they were too loud even if they were my favourite artist, now I think that I may never have seen them again had things turned out different so i just try and get rest before and after! LOve and hugs Laura PS Bet showaddywaddy will be fab!
  19. Hi Penny, Can I be nosey what did you do in a school? I was a primary school teacher and there are a few of us on here with an education background.
