Paula56 Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 I am scheduled for an angiogram in January. I have an occluded artery (M1) and they want to see what the blood flow rate from the collateral artery. I am having high anxiety over having the angiogram. I am afraid of dislodging plaque. Any advice? Quote
Louise Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Hi there a lot of people have anxiety over angio's but you'll be fine, ask the neuro team what they think... take care and Warm Welcome to the site... 1 Quote
Tina Posted December 31, 2021 Posted December 31, 2021 Hi Paula A very warm welcome to BTG. Wishing you well for your angiogram in January. Its normal to feel anxious as Louise has said. Try not to worry. Ask them to talk you through it and tell them your concerns so they can reassure you. I found it painless and all went ok for me. Take care and let us know how you get on, Tina xx Quote
