Different Strokes Meeting - South London

Hi,

A new group of 'Different Strokes' (group for younger stroke survivors) is having their first meeting tomorrow at 1.30pm at the Wimbledon YMCA.

Sorry for the late notice.

I've never been to a meeting but I hear they can be a great place for support, advice and new friends.

Looks good! I am in touch with Different Strokes but the closest meeting to me is miles away. When I'm ready, they said they'd help me set up a local group in Watford

Just met the lovely Leonie had a nice lunch and natter and will keep in touch.

Jen...its great to meet up with others that know how you feel and what you have and are going through. Good luck with setting up your support group, when you are ready

Thank you, Tina! I managed to make it home with a spring in my step - all thanks to meeting you.

Was so nice to finally be face-to-face with someone who has had similar experiences. I think you are a beautiful and brave lady!

As you know Wimbledon is awkward from S.E but I would have made the effort.
