Evelyn Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Hi to all I have not been on the site for a long time, life has been busy, But I felt the need to reach out, to those that might understand. I have done fairly well from the SAH, it will be 11 years this October, but have a whole new list of problems, and one of those is my system seems to be having issues with using calcium. I was wondering if any one else has found there to be a problem? PS: Hi Karen; it's Evelyn Blake from the USA. 2 Quote
Karen Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Hi Evelyn, Lovely to hear from you! I was found to be severely calcium deficient post SAH. I've been on something called Adcal D3 for about 10 years now. http://www.healthline.com/health/calcium-deficiency-disease#Hypocalcemiaininfants5 Hope that you manage to get the problem sorted out. x 1 Quote
Evelyn Posted October 4, 2016 Author Posted October 4, 2016 Hi Karen, everyone, It seems I have hypercalcemia, along with hypothyroidism, and nodules that now have to be biopsied. With a case of gallstones to top all this off. My doctor has me on a very boring bone broth, and steamed vegetables (no night shade) diet. I am feeling better. But I hate to even go to the grocery store anymore, with all the temptations yummy goodness. Oh how I miss potatoes. Quote
Tina Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 Hi Evelyn Good to hear you are feeling better, but do feel for you with your bone broth and steamed vegetable diet, bless you. Really hope all goes well with your biopsies. Sending lots of positive vibes your way. When you feel up to it, please us know how you are doing. Take care Tina xx 1 Quote
