  1. Hi Beth What an awful time you had. The national health service is fantastic in so many ways but so incredibly frustrating and worrying in lots of others. A real dichotomy....So sorry you had such a worrying and horrible time. Hopefully it will all be sorted soon which doesn't help you right now, I know. I think I may have told you but I had a ruptured berry aneurysm clipped and then, 12 months later (last October), had a second berry aneurysm, unruptured, clipped. They found the second one whilst scanning me post-SAH but wouldn't do both at once. Sending you loads of love, hugs and thinking of you. Sarah xx
  2. Hi Graham I have 2 titanium clips and my neurosurgeon says there is no problem with having scans of any type in the future. Apparently, according to my NS, clips that were put in over about 10 years ago would be affected by MRIs etc. (didn't ask him how) but modern clips, in the main, should not be affected by or affect anything. Hope this helps. Sarah
  3. Hi Anne I had an SAH on the right communicating artery which was clipped and was diagnosed as they found the SAH with a second, unruptured, annie on the left CA. I had that clipped one year later (last October). I really feel for you as it is not easy knowing that there's a second little blighter there. Wishing you all the best Sarah xx
  4. Hi Terry Welcome to this wonderful site, glad you found us. Behind The Gray is populated by the most kind, generous, loving people you could ever hope to meet all of whom have experience of SAH so we can all share what we're going through/have gone through which helps much more than anyone can imagine. What you're feeling right now, ie seemingly worse than the early days, is absolutely normal and I think most of us have experienced exactly the same. It's a real rollercoaster ride but you'll find you're not alone. Looking forward to seeing you here again. Sarah xx

  15. Hi Derek Would love to listen to your podcast. Since my SAH my iPod and I have been constant companions, never go anywhere without it! Got all sorts, a real eclectic mix of music, podcasts and audio books on it; I find it really helpful because of not being able to cope too well with background, particularly echoey, noise when out shopping or in busy places so I just plug in the earphones and, hey presto, no worries! Please can you let me know how I can download/upload (always get these two mixed up!) your podcast. Thanks Sarah x
