ClareM
Hi Rick welcome to BTG. Sorry to hear of your SAH can you tell us more of your story? You have done well to get back to work so soon are you finding it hard? I can't help regarding the pain behind ear, I suggest you have a chat with your doctor. We are often left with residual aches and pains but you should get it checked out in case it is anything else. Come back and and tell us more about yourself and update us on any advice you are given. Macca
Hi Rick, Go and get yourself checked over by a doctor. I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'blood has increased with the pain.' Do you mean blood pressure, or are you actually losing blood from somewhere? You need professional medical advice, either way, and we cannot give you that as we are not doctors. You are still in the very early stages of recovery and headaches are not uncommon, but if you are worried talk to your doctors. Good luck and let us know how you get on. Rick Johnson
I meant my blood pressure had elevated to around 150/80. I saw a doctor(GP) yesterday and he increased my BP medication . I had a CATSCAN last week which turned out ok. I have been doing well but my BP went up last week with the increased pressure behind my ears late in the day. hard to understand
Winb143
Hi Rick, My surgeon told me not to stress so I sing when worried about anything. My husband got me a BP Monitor and he tried it on himself to see how it worked, and his BP was 200 over something so he is on BP pills now. He blames the worry of me for it. Bless him. Keep a check on it Rick and lets hope it goes down, as for the headaches we all got them in the early days. If worried always see your Doc. I get a buzzing noise in ears drives me potty but Doc said it is sometimes usual after a bleed ??? Good luck Win xxxx
Rick Johnson
Thanks my biggest issue now is my neck is sore late in the day, it feels fine in the mornings but becomes sore at night, BP has moderated to the 130s/80s with 100mg losartum daily
ClareM
Hi Rick My neck used to be sore in the early months, the pain went with time. I am not sure what it was, may have just been tension or the remainder of the blood dissipating. I bought a memory foam pillow for my bed and found that really helped. I still use it now and have difficulty using any other kind of pillow now. If it gets worse get in touch with your doctor again, blood pressure seems good now though Take care Clare xx
