Guest
Does anyone know if it's safe to fly in an unpressurized small plane cabin three months out? Thanks Sue
paul99
hi sue welcome to btg sorry i havent picked up on your story i beleive you should check with your surgeon i know a commercial flight maybe ok but a light aircarft maybe a different matter as its not pressurised and would be more suppseptable to turbulance which maybe a problem have a look on the web i think in the states companies like life flight and medical repat companies would have the answer for you but i think a phone call to the surgeon's would be a good idea if your given the clearence enjoy

Guest
This question has come up before but not for a small plane, sorry cant help Paul's right maybe speak with your consultant.... I did ring the specialist today and he signed my waiver so I guess I'm good to go. Not flying for another two weeks, then twice a week for about 5 weeks. Guest
I will have my trusty iPhone with built in camera app. I'm flying on Angelflight for my cancer treatment as I live in a small community and Victoria would be my closest centre. May as well have a good distraction, right? Being I start after the Easter long weekend, will I have to change my flight data sheet to include the 5 lbs of chocolate eggs I plan to eat?? They want to know my height, weight and weight of luggage. Sue
kpaggett
You didn't have an aneurysm right? Then there shouldn't be an issue...but I'm glad you cleared it with your doctor. I hope it's fun. ~Kris
