  2. Marie, Sorry can't help with that, I get neckache but it is neckache if you understand what i mean!! If you are in so much pain, then go to A+E, thats what we pay taxes for, better safe than sorry! Laura xx
  3. Elaine, Welcome to this fab site Well done to your mum, she sounds like a real fighter! I agree with Sami, love, patience and understanding has really helped me to get over my SAH. I was only 27 when I had mine 21 months ago. Take care Laura

  5. Donna/ Jess Yes thats the feeling I was trying to describe! I agree as hard as it is sonetimes you have to try and forget/ worry about it and then it isn't quite so bad. Easier said than done- i know! Laura xx
  6. Sometimes I feel light headed and sometimes I get a weird feeling where it was coiled but again its something that you get used too eventually. Is that what you mean Donna? Love to you Laura xx
  7. Donna, You should have my pm i sent as well but just thought have you got a v neck pillow, cheap from argos? They are ideal to prop yourself up at night with your pillows, it doesn't seem tomake you quite so dizzy. Well it works for me anyway. Speak later Laura xx
  8. Jackie Welcome to this wonderful site. No wondre you are so low you have been through through such a lot having 2 SAHs in a short time. Any questions or advice we can give/answer, feel free.   9. Donna, Welcome, I'm 19 months on and still get panicky and dizzy but not quite so often unless tired or stressed. I too cry a lot and have just started counselling last week. I also get head twinges as well- you get used to those! Take care and don't expect too much much, you are early on in your recovery. Things do get better. Laura xx

  11. Welcome Sara, I was 27 too when my SAH happened, that was 19 months ago now. Sometimes I still find it really difficult with tiredness and headaches etc so you are doing wonderfully well to be back at work and recovering so quickly. Welcome to this fab site where lots of us will give as much advice/ support as you want! Take care By the way, is Chicago on the route 66? If it is we night be visiting you next year? Laura xx

  17. Cal, I wholeheartedly agree with Karen, I quite often get dizzy too especially when tired or stressed. Sometimes also if I move too quick. Hope this helps Laura xx

  19. Cal, Mine was using the computer at the same time as Simon had left for a weeks holiday. I am ok now using the computer when Simon is here but sometimes if he is away for work then I did and sonetimes still do get panicky. It has helped though that I have find this site as now if Simon is not here I am usually coming on here to see what what friends have been doing,so it has got easier. I must say I would not even climb a ladder now, what with the dizzy spells etc, there would be no way in the world. I think that is a bit unreasonable of Jims boss to say that. hes not the one thats been in a stressful situation. Jim can't be rushed he needsto try it in his own time. Laura xx
  20. I'm 19 months on and still also i think aout my SAH most days. I wsa doing really well then hit a brick wall and started having major headaches most days. Its a long process so just take care and listen to your body. I'm naff at listening to mine but am getting better Laura xx

  25. Hello and welcome to this brilliant website You are still very early in your recovery and I think lots of us went from sleeping problems early in our recovery but luckily it does get better. Speaking to your GP is a good idea but if you have got good friends and family, then try speaking to them. I honestly don't think they will feel burdened they are just feeling very happy that you are alive to talk to talk to them. Good luck and take care Laura xx
