  1. Hi there Welcome to the site. Think a lot of us agree about the bandage thing :? Really surprised me what your doctor said to you of all people yes you can be any age there's no limit on it. Hope to hear from you again soon. Louise.
  2. Hi there And welcome to the site Hellie. Think I was one of the lucky ones because it was the quick thinking ambulance men that saved my life & got me to the right hospital. However I do know what its like on the mis-diagnosis front Ronnie's cousin was mis-diagnosed then when finally they realised the CT scanner was broken so have the otherside of the coin too. Take care Louise.

  6. Hi there Welcome to the site & I can only go with what Karen, Keith & Sami have said, the what if's fade in time & that just what it all takes is time 13 March isnt that long ago at all, its such an emotional thing to have been through its no wonder our emotions are thown into turnmoil. Its a rollacoaster but it improves.... Take care Louise.x
  7. Hi Hannah Nice to hear from you updating us, I guess your Mum trying to push the boundaries is she is getting a lot better. Knowing what my husband went through with me I’d say that it is ****** hard work being the carer so don’t beat yourself up about it, like everything it will take time & pass, sometimes I used to set myself little goals maybe this is your Mum’s one? Wanting a weekend away maybe that could be the goal in the summer when she’s finally out, Ronnie took me out for a meal the night I was discharged I’d moaned & moaned about it, it shattered me something terrible but it was kind of like being normal again……….. Take care sending hugs Louise.xx
