Hello Elaine I had MRSA in hospital I asked alot of questions about it and they said that MRSA is built up by the papers to be something its not there are different types..... I had a cream in my nose about ? 2/3 times a day x x and since nothing else has been done x x x my blood tests have been fine x x Ask any questions you need answering from your doctor x x none of my family was checked for it and they was with me everyday x x sorry its not loads of help love donna x

Laura you are a lovely person and what you need to remember this is YOUR life x x Look at it now that you are in a job and keep looking until something comes along that you like the sound of x x I dont really understand what different areas of teaching there are what is it about teaching that you like the children side or study side if that makes sense and look at what other proffessions there is you could do in that line x I keep thinking about my job x x one day I like it then another I think there must be more to life than this x x I would like to be a support worker to other survivors but I know that I am not ready for this yet and dont have a clue where to start What do you feel in your heart and feel comfortable doing x x its so hard because like you say we put ourselves down when we are unable to do something x x but we get through it I dont know how but we do x x x x Laura If you ever want to come over for a couple of nights and stop at mine you are more than welcome, even make it a girlie weekend ( I will send Jack to his Grandma's he loves it there ) ....... I always phone my neuro nurse if I am worried about anything x x I have a small gap at the tip of my anni and had a MRI scan and was told all ok and still the same and another MRI scan in 1 years time x x It does worry me but has I see it if they was worried about it then they would operate x x Speak to the neuro nurse and make a list what you want to ask because if you are anything like me soon has you are on the phone your mind goes blank TC love donna xxxxx

Tisha My heart goes out to you and I am sending a massive hug x x x Me and my sister are really close and I know she was there for me everyday x x I can remember when I came round that my sister was right there x x x I dont know if you are allowed or not but when i was in ICU and can remember opening my eyes from time to time and seeing photos in front of me on a beam of my family and I know this sounds strange but I do believe that helped me alot x there was a photo of me and my 2 year old Jack and I smile eveytime I see it now x x Every little helps x x x Keep positive lots of love donna x x x x

Hello all I have not posted before on where my bleed was and I have not research it either x x letter from Hospital says basilar aneurysm treated with coils....... I have a small space that remains at the base of the anni and have it monitored with mri scans x x So does anyone know what part of the brain that affects any feedback welcome x x x love donna

Hello elaine I dont know how my family felt x we dont talk about it much my dad did phone me and we had a chat so it must have been on his mind. Your mother is really lucky to have you to talk to..........My family see the past has past but since my sah it has changed me has a person but not in a bad way I tell my family that I have been given a gift and look at life in a very different way x x x x I take evrything in now every smile my little boy does and every cuddle he gives me x x on my year mark I must admit that I was emotional but also very happy to have survived, but i also felt angry that I went through it in the first place and still ask why me............its all very emotional to me and have these days from time to time.......... I am so happy I have gone past the year mark now though because I keep telling myself well it hasnt happened in the last year so why would it now ie fainting or another bleed ( my fears ). tc and be proud of yourself for how far you have come TOGETHER..... love donna xx

Well here I am a year down the line since my SAH AND APART FROM THE SPINNING HEAD FROM TIME TO TIME AND ANXIETY i feel great............... I just want to thankyou KAREN AND KEITH i really do not know what I would of done without this FANTASTIC site i know you put alot of hard work and energy into the site and I think you are fantastic setting this site up to help others. It has been an amazing journey and thankyou all for your support and help..... I have made some long life friends on here and I think you are all amazing people with big hearts x x I want to thank Sami for all the amazing support she has given me, She was always there on the other end of the phone when I needed her and if I was in tears she was over like a shot THANKYOU !!!! I was diagnosed with PTSD x x and was told by my councellor that I was at the highest level and she would help x x and she did x x x She told me that when something like this happens in your life it brings everything back to the surface that has happened in your life even things that you think you are over and dont want to remember x x x I do feel like I have a more clear head about things now x x its a strange feeling but i do recommend that if anyone feels they need someone to talk to about PTSD then to do so x x x along with this site it has helped me get my life back on track x x x I still struggle with my confidence quite alot but that is something i need to build on in my own time x x x love donna x

I thought I would put this post in, I feel really really sensative lately I watched Benjamin button the other night and started sobbing x x Jack was in bed with me asleep and I just kept crying thinking I never want to leave him x x I want to write down what I want Jack to be told if anything bad happens to me but I just dont feel strong enough to write it down x I get worried easily still x x But I dont want to spend my life crying and thinking on the what ifs x x but I also dont know how to make my thoughts stop x Does anyone suffer with this, well I know someone else must, does anyone have ideas to help me x x thankyou love donna x x x x
