Guest Yvonne Posted August 11, 2008 Share Posted August 11, 2008 Hi everyone Thanks for the kind welcome messages - you seem to have really bonded on this site, I wish there'd been something like this around a few years ago. I had a real problem with nobody understanding what I was going through - visitors in the early days all commented that I looked great and fine and would obviously be back to work in no time - as if! I also discovered I'd had a lot of 'fairweather' friends who, after the initial sending of flowers and cards, all drifted away and got on with their busy lives.
