myratas
I have found that since my SAH i am prone to colds and coughs, i hardly ever had a cough but now i pick up things like that very quickly. It's a lot worse also, it was not like that before. I am still always tired and still have no energy. Myra xx

Skippy
Hey there I seem to have gone the other way - used to get coughs and colds all the time - only had two since my SAH over two years ago. Suppose it's some kind of bonus Sami xxxx
MUTTI
HI MY DOCTOR TOLD ME BEFOR I LEFT THE HOSPITAL THAT I SHOULD STEER CLEAR OF ANYONE SICK AS I WOULD BE MORE INCLINED TO CATCH WHAT EVER WAS GOING AROUND, AND I DID UNTIL LAST YEAR WHEN I STARTED DRINKING GREEN JUICE SINCE THEN I HAVEN'T HAD ANYTHING. Janet
Hi Myra I don't seem prone to catching more colds etc. but find when I do come down with something it takes me much longer to recover now. Janet xx
bogbrush
Hi Myra I seem much less prone to colds and things now. I even get less headaches than before ... can't remember when I last had one! Like Janet, though, I find that when I do go down with something, it takes me much longer to recover. Regards Keith
tennissmithy
I'm like Janet still get the same amount of coughs and colds but definitely take longer to recover! Love and hugs Laura xx
jess
I think I catch things easier now, but it is probably I just notice it more now. Jess.xxx
Karen
Hi Myra, I was told by my Doc, that the immune system is lower post SAH ..... I'm now asked to go and have yearly flu jabs, as I'm in the "at risk" category.... Think that a virus probably knocks many of us for six ..... when you're suffering bad fatigue anyway, then it doesn't take much else to upset things. I take a multi-vitamin + iron supplement each day .... not sure whether it does anything, but touch wood .... I normally stay clear of viruses.....now I've said that, I'm probably going to get something!!
