Guest ElaineW
Hi everyone. Maggie has her first follow up on Monday. Can anyone suggest anything I should be mentioning. I can only think of when she should expect an angio follow up and I would like to know how many coils she had.I am sure there are other things I should be talking about. Guest ElaineW
Hi all Mum saw Neuro Reg today and they are very pleased with her. He told her she has done remarkably well to make this clinic appointment, I think she felt a bit choked up. All being well they do not want to see her until a year when they will scan her to check the coils are all in situ so that is great news. Apparently she had a really big bleed which 15 years ago they would have struggled with. I asked how many coils she had but he could not tell me. Anyway that's the latest - she is seeing Rheumatology next week with her saliva (or lack of) problems so fingers crossed for that too. Love to all Elaine and Maggie xx

Mine was the carotid artery and they said the same about mine, that 10 years ago they would have struggled and when i asked number of coils, I was told "did you expect ust o count them, loads, we were just trying to stop the bleed!" Love and hugs Laura xx

Guest ElaineW
Mum had a basilar tip aneurysm Laura. They just said that she has cost the NHS lots of money and that her head was full of platinum. Having meals on wheels for mum now as she struggles to sort meals out when I am at work - she is not looking forward to it but there is no option. Food has been such a sore subject these last six months with her, we can only but try. Thanks for all your good wishes. Elaine xx
