Hi Donna try not to worry I know it keeps happening to you but I bet when you have good days you sit there thinking about dizzy spells and wondering when they will return and that really doesn't help I used to sit there and think about them and think when will they return and they do come back then. Try not to worry and don't forget your water and drink it lol xxx

  10. Something else that helps me is dark chocolate if I eat just a piece before bed I wake up next morning headache free but I expect a Dr would not tell you that cause they just like to hand out pills and chocolate is bad for us apparently lol. Jess.xxx
  11. Anadin liquid capsules used to work for me I would only need two on a headache day and it would go and not return. That was brill but now my Dr as put me off them saying well you shouldn't take them just in case it is a bleed. Thanks Dr lol. Anyway my neurosurgeon said I can still take them but please if you want to try them check with your Dr first. Jess.xxx

  17. Hi there welcome to btg. I know when I had done to much because I would have a banging headache but everyone is different it may affect you some other way. Driving at the weekend have you been told you can drive 6 weeks isn't all that long so I would check and find out if I can first because if you haven't had the all clear and you crashed your insurance can refuse to pay out as if you haven't told anyone and haven't had the go ahead to drive you won't be insured. Look forward to chatting sometime. Jess.xxx

  20. Mine was 7th September 2002 and there were a few in with the same. Went in for second op Jan 03 there weren't as many there with sah then I really don't believe there is a season they can go at any time. Jess.xxx
  21. I was in stafford at first and the only half decent thing about that place was the food. I hve vowed never to go back there for any op ever. They kept saying I had a hangover from the Saturday to the Wednesday when they did a lumbar punture and found blood in it. I was then transferred to stoke thank god where my treatment really improved. In stafford they did make sure I had a full jug of water by my bed however I couldn't drink any cause I was lying down and they wouldn't give me a cup with a lid or anything. That alĺ changed in stoke the nurses said how dehydrated I was and gave me a kind of baby beaker that I could drink out of after I had first been on a drip putting fluids inside me. So the first hospital was rubbish other than the food so at least they have got something going for them shame it ain't the care as it should be seeing as it is supposed to be a hospital. Jess.xxx
  22. Donna I have been put to sleep a few times since and also had a numbing one where you are awake everything was fine. Try not to worry you will be fine my mom had hers out she only spent one night in hospital and she was fine. Jess.xxx
  23. Hi there as wrong as this may seem but yes I do think it makes a difference there are alot of people out of work most of which haven't had a sah I feel had I have gone to tescos after my sah I wouldn't have got the job. Not when they have as many as they do applying for the jobs. And this is where I would fail to tell them and the reason for that is companys lie too. They say they don't discriminate but they do, they wouldn't have set me on if it had happened before I got the job. Jess.xxx
  24. Hi there from the day I collapsed 7th September 2002 I had two brain ops moved house got pregnant and was back at work 31st march 2003. They only took the hair from underneath unless it was tied up you couldn't see it now you have to search for the scars cause they are hidden. Try not to worry to much about what people can and can't see only you know how you are feeling. Jess.xxx
  25. Thanks everyone. Someone made me laugh the other day they said aren't you brave going back in to hve another op on the other one. I said no not really I weren't ready to die and I still ain't so worse case I will go and have it all done again. Lol. Jess.xxx
