Christmas 2010 I could not even walk.....Christmas 2011..Zimmer frame nice pressie lol..2012 stick on hundred yard walks But I was told I would never walk again !!!..... We are getting better....just look back to how we were....So after 3 lets scream Yeahhhhhhhhhhh we beat it !! almost..and we wont let it beat us NEVER EVER !! I cry so easily also Michelle.....I look at my dogs and I feel sad for them !!! lol ......See I know they missed me as we are Special..people. I spoke to a nurse and I mentioned my daughter.....I felt such a fool. as I couldn't stop the tears flowing But I am getting there, (well to as I was in 2009/2010 !!) ...does that make sense ? Lol Kris, We are going to get better every day...we will be happy then sad....but we will get better......( I HOPE LOL) I like the new me....But I find I question my family too much.......Think I drive them doolally with my questions ....what happened etc...etc... when I was out of it for a while... Well now then let me think...yep hmmmm had vice pain....forehead like a band gripping it...then I get a pain from back to front of head..Then I panic and then out comes the paracetamols....but not really that bad that I feel scared enough to see Doc...so guess all is okay really (I Hope) lol Good luck to all xxxxxxx Love WinB143 xx

All I remember is my head itched by scar..so my daughter used to bath scar where shunt was fitted in salt water........ It helped me !! ~ Good luck on recovery and keep smiling and singing All the Best WinB143 x .

Hi Tom, It is early days....just try and keep calm and listen to Liz D ....she makes sense ..... As for crying..WelI I cry at the drop of a hat, always been watery headed even got hydrocephullis after SAH...So keep calm and try not to worry and welcome to BTG All the Best WinB143 x

I feel like my ears are always dirty...I also get a shhhing noise in ears..... like holding.a shell up to ear..but worse......so I turn up TV My Family say "you deaf" so I just say "WHAT"..!!! lol As Karen said you will have to see Doc again......Smile and sing ... Be happy and I hope you feel better soon...We all have good n bad days it is part of SAH recovery... I guess ??? One woman on here said she had SAH 19 years ago (it gave me hope)....so keep happy no matter what and relax !! Like Karen mine was not due to accident.... Good luck on your recovery Regards WinB143

If I don't have a goal in my day...Then I think I could sleep for England ....wonder if 2012 Olympics will want me, hmmmmm lol Seriously I cannot walk very far but I try to push myself....Like car park to Cafe pushing wheelchair as an aid...botty sticks out and back aches...I always take sunglasses in supermarket....I am the only one with them on when raining..lol Sunny today so I never looked out of it ..phew..! I totally agree with Karen and Louise....get out of the house even for a decaff coffe...and a huge cake lol..ok forget cake !!! I am not the same person I was.......but I quite like the new me.......Always rated myself lol My hubby used to get me a coffee and pour it in paper cup as I could not hold cup....Now Cheer up if possible Lisa and sing.... You must feel on a downer..But look on the bright side , They found it early this time....Not having a 2nd yet I can only imagine how you must feel... My hubby was not going to let me have shunt fitted he was scared I might not make it and I was in cuckooland but the surgeon helped my husband change his mind phew thanks surgeon...no more dreamland Good Luck Ron x WinB143 xx

I was in dreamland until I had shunt fitted for hydrocephulus ( can never spell that word) Cheer up and don't let things get you down sing g/friend a song and make her sing along with you..it helped me I know it sounds daft but it helped me truly...mind you I only know rude songs lol Keep bright if possible...and remember you need rest also All the Best WinB143 xx

Hi Lisa, We have our good days and bad days...it is to be expected.....I had good days and bad ones before my SAH..ie I could be a cow lol Do not beat yourself up over it...we are Special....we are alive !!! We made it through some didn't ...so smile if possible and think happy thoughts......and keep calm ....and I agree wih the choc but I took it to the extreme..now on diet, well 3rd one this month...start again hmmmmm tomorrow lol Be happy and sing Love WinB143 xxx
