If possible try and keep positive .... look at it as boxing match... Round 1 ...Sah wallops us we are down but with help (Docs) we are up and fighting Round 2... Still a bit groggy from the blow in the first round ...we take it easy, float like a butterfly etc Round 3.. Feeling fitter we laugh at the SAH,, We give SAH uppercut to the jaw wallop we feel better (doing the Ali shuffle) Round 4... We will overcome this SAH and remaining calm we go for knockout punch...relax and deep breathing and with love, laughter we sing and laugh ~look it cannot hurt us anymore !!! Keep happy and smiling all when possible after what we have been through we deserve to be happy good days bad days we had them before our SAH .... Love to All WinB143 xxxxxxxxx

Hi MaryB Welcome to site hope you feel well xx I had SAH in August 2009 and 2010 shunt was fitted in August 2010...unil shunt was fitted I remember nothing apart from seeing my parents and family who had passed on .....I think my hubby and daughter suffered more than me, poor loves Strange dreams like a man chasing me with a tube..lol ...catheter problems ???? I give up trying to make sense of it all. Arguing with nurses for hurting me, sounds like me !!! My Sister used to sing to me and stroke my hair...she told me " never give up", So for my Sis Sylvia Thanks xx and my Daughter and Hubby I will help cook Christmas dinner sitting down though as back hurts real bad ..... If I hadn't been out of it for a long while ..guess I would be smoking still.....I know it sounds daft but I enjoyed a ciggie.... now I cannot take the smell of them...but a bad way to give up smoking ..lol annie .... my weight has gone sky high though instead of smoking I eat and eat !!!! obesity or anni ????? hmmmmm lol Good luck All WinB143 xxxxxxxxx

Hi MichelIe, When I was younger. I told my mum she could borrow my suede coat Just keep it cleean !!! She decided to dance with a pint on head !!!! Yep she spilt it all over my new coat....... I said "Mum my coat is ruined".....she started to laugh....I got very angry then she laughed then cried............... I totally agree with Sandi and BillB.. I look on it that we could have popped our clogs ..But we never !!!! We should be glad we came back to the ones that Love us and let them know how glad we are to be with them...... Alright I admit it I do let fly now and then ....it's the brain !! not me !.....okay it is me sometimes Instance 1 At funeral of my hubbys Aunt my hubby went to relatives...muggins here thought he was behind me Saw in laws laff and snigger then realised hubby had gone, I felt a right berk....talking to myself ! Was more angry at my in laws attitude towards me wanted to punch them in the face.....anger welled up inside of me felt tears coming...so I called Hubby....told him when he was ready could we go...then we got into car and I let rip language I never knew "Your family are sh*ts etc etc lol I look back on it and find it funny but I wont be talking to myself or my in laws for a while....lol................. People can laff with me but Never at me....phew got it off my chest !!!! Love to all WinB143 xx

See your brain is telling you enough on the computer. you give me a break...so you have started learning already !!! Honestly you will improve when I look back to last christmas my hubby got me a zimmer frame He's good like that lol I wanted diamonds but a new zimmer was more practical...darn it lol Keep bright and smile try singing it helps me but costs a fortune in ear plugs for family and friends lol All the Best WinB143

I had SAH in 2009 and remember very little until I had shunt fitted in 2010.....I was told I wont walk again but I limp on my own now lol Now I have been signed off from Hospital.....the surgeon left it open ie if I feel unwell or ill to call him....or get my Doc to call him. I was so scared Jilly so it is natural ....but they will keep eye on you so try to relax (easily said ) ! I sing and smile a lot drives my hubby up wall......I am also good at crying at the drop of a hat lol Keep smiling Jilly xx Good luck WinB143 xx

Mark Hi, I had SAH like your Mum .... I was very ill...my daughter and hubby stayed up the hospital most of the time and never gave up on me. Even when they where told to put me in home and I'd never walk again ......I have proved the physios wrong so far ie legs are weak and I can limp to the loo lol but I do it for my family who went thru it when I was out of it for over a year... I do swear a lot more than before but it must either be me or SAH..so I'll blame the SAH ....lol Try and remember your Mum with love ...and smile when you talk about her.......hope all goes well with your family and be happy Regards WinB143

Hello Shirls I had my MRI scan in July or August...memory has gone lol it was a doddle honest nothing to get worried about ....but you cannot help but worry.....I was scared in case they found anything but they didn't find a thing....ie no bad things growing in my brain ....the wait for the all clear was the worst... I.wonder if they even found my brain sorry bad joke.....try not to worry too much if I can get it over and done so can you Now smile and sing a song xxxx oh the worst bit was my botty didn't fit in the trolley lol....ok another diet again !!
