Hi All, When young (I have a good memory !!!) I used to get numbness, pins and needles before a migraine Try and relax and if need be take a recommended pill ie what Doc says is okay for you to take..... I find singing helps me but gives family headache ......Now on a diet and off to Docs for weigh in Wednesday !! Just hope the scales take my weight aghhhhhhhh !! Alison, Keep strong for your Chris...I had SAH my hubby and Daughter went through it....I had so many complications that my daughter said to her Dad .."will Mum be okay Dad"...he "replied " yes but when ?"......keep strong Alison and I hope all goes well with Chris and op. When I came around I felt sad that I had put my family through this....although not my fault, but I am now having rows and moans with hubby so I know I am getting better lol back to normal married life !!! Hi All, I get stressed then head hurts...I try not to stress....but I cannot help it lol Hubby and daughter worry about me....I have told them to leave me alone and I will call them when and if I need them. but they worry (oh to go a toilet in peace) lol.....but it shows they care ..... Back to headaches, I have drill holes in either side of head between drill holes, ie the middle parting hurts sometimes..does that make sense ??? also temples hurt....but not too often so I try and remain calm..hard going !!!! I get noise also in ears....like my husband moaning lol means I am getting better, seriously though...I get water noise in ears but it goes when I am out shopping .....noises around me I guess ???? Good luck on recovery and welcome to BTG Regards WinB143 xx

Hi,there I agree with Sandi and others .....I get palpatations, I am seeing Doc on Monday I will ask him also.......try not to worry if poss easier said etc etc ....no getting tense it's bad for head. I told my surgeon..."why is my arm numb?" he shrugged lol .....I hurt myself pulling myself out of chair....weight is a problem with me...ie too much of it !! much too much !! Cheer up and get it sorted and all will be well .....ok off to get ice cream lol All the best WinB143 xx

I miss walking with hubby daughter and dogs......hated it before SAH lol I get teary easily swearing is so bad now !!! lol I feel people feel sorry for me but I got to see my parents and brother again (was it a dream ~ Nope)...So I am lucky Love to all WinB143 xxxxxxxxxx

Hi Jo, Take it easy and relax when poss...easier said than done !!!!.. you have been through a lot ...so try and think happy thoughts and sing it helped me !!!!!.....We are all different....I was in hospital from late July 09 to Dec 09 .. Then back in to have shunt fitted in August 2010 for hydrocephelus !! I did not remember a thing until I had shunt fitted...apart from arguing with OT's and calling them witches ..lol .....Well My daughter told me this arghhhhhhh They said I would never walk again and I should be put in home ..Thank Goodness for my hubby and daughter telling them... No Way !!! I am getting better every day... I don't overdo it apart from shopping and having coffee out (decaff) Anyway Jo...Keep happy and smiling and Good Luck Regards WinB143 xx call me limpy ..lol
