I got up at 4 am the last 2 days and am Shattered by 7am , zzz time ...No way I get ready in case anyone takes me out...decaff anyone ? Close eyes at night ~ I sleep okay but feel uncomfortable I lay on arms pins n needles set inl...Then !! hubby wakes me up by telling me I am snoring....I am the one who lays there whistling to stop his snoring ...lol Okay I do zzzz sometimes Think it's age thing that wakes me up lol Rest All Best wishes WinB143 xx

I was exactley the same,.....The answerphone was a lifesaver...sounds bad but I have 10 brothers and sisters and my head could not take it all...Love them all but head hurt in early days.... My sister in law was offish to me other week...she went like this WHY ON EARTH DO YOU NEED TO WASH PLATES BEFORE PUTTING THEM IN D/WASHER.... she was very loud and agitated....I just said because it is the way I do it ! Really I wanted to say mind ya own business but held my cool..swore under my breath...smiling and calling her swear words in my mind...lol...because I had SAH it does not give her the right to talk to me as she wants....grrrr lol... answer phone for her. I really can relate also....My daughter did what Dawns partner did.....She would make me look at brain book and ask me questions like what colour jacket did the woman have on..it has all helped me...still remember it was a yellow jacket .. My remedy for being down is as follows :~ Go Shopping....even for a coffee / decaff !! Smile even when down ..think of how much you have come on since day 1 I sing a lot but I depress family with my off key songs Depression can bring you and those around you down also but we all know we cannot help it We have to try and sing and be happy ..hard to do ! We all know this !! None of it is our fault..We have been there got scars to prove it and we are still here.... Now those who are feeling down...think of a time/incident that really made you laugh..we all have one Okay get memory jogging and tell BTG peep a funny thing that happened in your life My Memory ~Anne my sister said lets dance for the Queen, Win, Queen being a pic on wall (We curtsey then off we go) We done a ho down dance...she said be serious Win,,The Queen is watching us.. we danced holding hands towards picture She done her dozey doh towards me..I start laughing She said hush the Queens looking at us..She realised what she said and we both went hystrical lol Now Get us all laughing over to you Love WinB xxxx oh yes my sister wet herself lol We were Young !!!!!

Hi all...Vent if it helps us.....I swear now ~ bad bad WinB lol...but I have a wonderful family ..... My hubby never slept in bed ..ahhh bless him he felt he needed to be near me I assume,,or when I was in hospital he needed to be near phone (as I was out of it....til shunt was fitted). My Sisters say how well my hubby and daughter have cared for me Now they moan so I guess I am well..lol...Family say how well I am doing.....as a bit out of it after op and ventriculits and blood poisoning etc. etc. Good Luck and Hope you Teech will soon be feeling better Regards WinB143 xxxxxx

Hi All, When I came round after shunt in 2010 my brain clicked into repair straight away but before my shunt...I am told i spoke but I cannot remember a thing from Aug 2009 til 2010..I was in a dream like state......seeing family,partying with them,singing along with them..dream? but it was nice to see .all my family who had passed away... After shunt my brain has improved day by day...No more "Hi Thingy" or whatchamacallit...(So What was I saying..Joke lol) Seriously my brain is getting better and I hope it keeps on improving....Try remembering songs you used to sing or poems whatever you enjoy it helps memory..Well mine it did ..we sing talk about old times but I find 2008 to 2010 all a blur... I get numbness in arm...I asked the surgeon when I had my follow up MRI "what causes numb arm" he shrugged lol so guess it cannot be that bad I hope ! But I cannot lay on tummy anymore ... mind you the size could be why lol..... Be Well All WinB143 xx

When I feel down my anger turns to ..eff off... also Kaz.so you are not alone ,,lol.... We all feel down ..... guess more so since annie....what annoys me is being treated like I have no brain....well I guess I have lost a bit lol But we are here and that keeps me going....my husband knows 2 men who passed away with SAH ...So I guess I'm lucky ?? Well we all are lucky !! I find being told "You must diet" last on my list of things to do in my life...I will try though...for a fifth time ..(anyone got a choc ?) Ate bananas now blood has too much potassium, so off bananas....I give up !!! is it potassium in bananas ? I cry at the drop of a hat.....(weepy win here) but I have more good days than bad so I am lucky ..We are all lucky so after 3 lets all laugh .....a3 Ha Ha giggle snort ha ha lol Love to all WinB143 Cheer up xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi again Phil....I can only guess you are all going through.....I come from a big family..and I am the youngest...so I have had Sisters and Sister in law visiting me...we sang when I was out of it....or so I am told....it helped me get through the grey/mist (I had venticulitus and sepsis also.) My hubby calls me heavy maintenance..because of the weight I have put on..... But I am definately High Maintenance !!! always have been though ...lol Try and do things with wife singing etc ?.....Hope she gets well soon... My language has gotten so bad.
