  1. Sorry to hear of your redundancy, give yourself some time and your brain will process things, even if it is a bit overwhelming at the moment Vivien x
  2. Well Done for getting back to work just do as you are doing I reckon, rest when you can. I am not working as I used to do accounts and my brain doesn't seem to work well enough for that anymore, so I am a lady of leisure
  3. Welcome Ali Sending you Best Wishes Vivien x
  4. Hi Mel, glad to hear your husbands scans were good, sounds like he is doing well for only 3 months from his SAH, my memory is still bad and I am 2 and a half years on! at first it used to scare me, now it makes me laugh. I had a gastroscopy a few years ago, got a spray on the back of my throat and down went the tube it is not as bad as you think it is going to be, and I think they know that most people are scared of having this done. Good Luck Vivien x
  5. Sorry to hear that news John, no wonder you are down in the dumps!! Hope things improve Vivien x

  7. I think most of us wear hats in the winter:) There were some pics on the gallery, not sure if they are still there Vivien x
  8. Glad to hear all tests were ok The physio will probably help, as one side is weak it might have put your body off kilter ( If you know what I mean!) and a physio can help strengthen certain muscles and get you centred again. Vivien x

    Flu Jab

I am supposed to have the flu jabs as I am at 'risk' due to asthma, but I don't go. I had one a few years ago and it made me feel ill for a few days, so I haven't bothered since!

Hello Paris and Welcome to BTG I can only echo what the others have said Vivien x
  11. Hiya, I was coiled and on my last check up they told me it had grown a bit, the coils compact I think, anyway they don't recoil until it reaches a certain size, so I will have MRA scans yearly for the next 5 years. Maybe this is the reason they are not going in yet Maybe do what Tina said and ask the docs? Vivien x
  12. Hello Helen and welcome to this site I know there are others on this site who had a non anuerism ( I have forgotten how to spell it!) bleed, it does sound very confusing to have a bleed but not know where it came from. The tiredness, memory probs and emotional after effects seem to be the same though. V ivien x

  18. Hello Andi and welcome to this very helpful site Vivien x
  19. Hi Kelly I am now two and half years since my SAH and the anxiety has really lessened over time, I also have a counsellor who I talk to once a month and this has helped as well. I still have the odd time when a weird pain or sensation in my head has me worried, but these are now rare and I know that they will pass. Vivien x
