Hi Karen, You are having your scan on my birthday! Good Luck I have the same problem as you and have to go for scans every year for 5 years because of a small bit sticking out. I am fine about it until the time of the scan and the wait for the result, then I start worrying about wether it has grown or not! Have decided now that the surgeon knows best and if anything needs doing he will inform me Best Wishes Vivien x -

Hi Mike I have a daily desk diary which is open on the days page in front of my pc, ( I always get up and turn on my pc) I write in it all I am supposed to do for the day and any appointments b'days etc. I have found this works better for me than post it notes. I can also look back in the diary to see what I did last week Vivien x

Hello Aaki and welcome to this site I had an SAH from an aneuyrism. so can't help much except to say that there are others on this site who suffered the same as you and it must be very worrying when no cause is found. Best Wishes Vivien x

My BP has always been normal except if I ever have to go to our local hospital then it shoots up! So they whizz me to a bed and put in needles etc, but after about an hour it goes back down again Amazing what a bit of stress can do. Vivien x -

Hello It took me quite a while to be able to type a sentence on here! I am still not great but much improved. I also forget the right word to use or make up a word completely! it is worse when I am tired or too much is going on, but again has much improved with time Vivien x

Wow kel! what a rough time you are having, hope things improve for you soon. I agree with the others, don't return to work until you are ready, I think the neurosurgeons just look at the bit of brain they have fixed, not the whole person Good Luck Vivien x

Hi Norma and a belated welcome to the site from me (I sometimes miss threads and posts!) You are doing really well, and just to let you know that I also get a numb tingly feeling on the right side of my face and right arm when I have overdone it! Not so much now that I am 2 and a half years on, but quite a bit the first few months. I now know it is a sign for me to have a rest Vivien x
