amexdm
Hello my BTG friends: Tomorrow is my one year anniversary of my SAH. I am not sure to cry or celebrate. I will choose to reflect. And be thankful. For my life and the many friends I've made here at BTG. So I will write a poem. It's called TOMORROW TOMORROW Tomorrow I cannot be a better man Cause today I'm doing the best I can I have met many new friends who will be there with me, to the end We've laughed and we've cried We are certainly not done We work together as one We try so hard every day to get better, so hard I pray If I could take a day to borrow That I may feel better, tomorrow So we know only one way To get better each day With our friends in tow Only we at BTG will know that we will better TOMORROW! Good health to all and thank you for your love and support, David
Diduck
David that is absolutely beautiful Without friends this journey of ours would be a tough old road....in fact its a tough old road anyway but the support we get from friends make the trip more bearable The close friends we live with can help support us by their actions and help But the distant friends spread around the world but pulled together by BTG are the emotional support and guidance we need so desperately One year aniversary is a milestone in your life David and you should celebrate it with pride and optimism for the next and the next love Di x
Skippy
Hey David I won't be around tomorrow as I'm off on holiday for a week so, Happy Anniversary for tomorrow. Make it a special day if you can - I treat mine like a second birthday. Also, reflect on how far you have come since the SAH (don't compare yourself to how you before SAH) - you've done remarkably well and have achieved soooo much. I'm proud of you hun. Have a wonderful day and keep your chin well and truly held high - you should be very proud of yourself.

Sandi K
David, happy Anni-versary. Well done on the poem. I like Sami's advice on reflecting on how far you've come since SAH instead of comparing yourself to before. Its hard to do that but so important so you acknowledge all your efforts. Sandi K. amexdm
Hi, Thanks to everyone for their responses. I just worked and went home and had dinner as usual. Gave wife a big hug. Had some rather mixed emotions but in the end it was positive. Thanks to all who helped me through such a difficult year, I truly couldn't have done it without the support here. Cheers to many more!
