I too have been clipped, and had a seven hour operation....mine was a small aneurysm at the stem of my brain. Hi Perry That lifted my spirits just reading what you posted....how lovely for you...i can really appreciate how good it made you feel! Mine was when i could smile again...sounds silly....but the right side of my face was paralysed...eye shut and could not smile......i did my exercises everyday....and at about 6 months.....one morning Kissed my hubby goodbye and smiled........and he said....go look in the mirror.....you can smile again Being a smiley person.....was a morale boosting moment for me! Hi Jac I agree with Louise on both counts....its because it is the unknown.....there really is nothing to worry about xx As for just saying...'i am fine'....we are all guilty of that....and really you should tell them, my hubby gets really cross if i am not honest and tell him. Hi Mo Yes i do still have tenderness...i cant sleep on my right side where my scar is....it has been very painful just recently...but down to nerves and muscles mending and re connecting. I was lucky with my hair.....as i have so much lol.....where they shaved it on the side...they left a top section and as long...covered it.....has only just blended back in 14 months later !
